Ever tried your cat's food?

I always try a piece of new food before the boys get it. It's a good indicator of how it will go over with them.

-Science Diet Lite tasted like a year-old tortilla chip left in a dusty cupboard, and had a nasty aftertaste.
-Iams Lite is just plain gross. It coats your tongue with grease and stays with you for hours.
(I think the reason why the cats have been swallowing their food whole is because the food tastes bad.)

- Friskies tastes the best, like dry ramen noodles covered in headcheese. No nasty aftertaste either. It's the only dry food they've ever taken the time to chew, though I don't feed it to them anymore.

- Iams canned tastes JUST like canned corned beef. Made we wanna throw up. (I can't eat canned corned beef. Tried it at work once, and it was way too gross. For those wondering, I work in a deli.)

But yeah, I try it. ONLY ONE PIECE though. I probably get it from my mom and aunt (who are twins). My mom used to eat dog food when she was little, and my aunt had a thing for driveway gravel.

Oh yeah, and helicobacter pylori is a bacteria that causes over 90 percent of stomach ulcers inlcuding heartburn. It can be treated with antibiotics, so it is curable.
It's a good thing that stuff is curable because nothing will stop me from kissing Dori, she is just toooo cute

No kidding. No one should stop kissing their kitties.
Get your doctor to treat any heartburn symptoms with antibiotics and keep on loving them.

Where do I store all this information, in the empt
Grandpa's right, you know, it's extremely bad hygiene. What am I saying, I've already told you this, I'm the older brother she was talking about. And, I have tried dog food, because when you're bringing it to your dog, it smells so good, you just have to try it.

I accidently tried one of my cats treats. I was watching a movie in the dark and had a plate of snacks next to me, as well as one for the cats, and reached down and some how grabbed one of theirs. As soon as I put it in my mouth I just about died. The taste was awful and it was like having a mouth full of sand. I spent the next hour brushing my teeth and washing my mouth out.

Yum! When trying to find the purrfect cat food for the boys, I sampled pieces of kibble at cat shows, pet stores etc. I only tasted the super premium cat foods such as Natural Balance, GO! Natural, Felidae, Foundations and FROMM. They all tasted pretty good! It makes me happy knowing that my cats are getting something tasty to eat, not something bland. I have never attempted wet food, and I probably never will! Overall, Natural Balance tasted, looked and smelled the best (the ingredients are awesome too), so thats what they're eating now.

A big LOL on me! Though I have read this thread before, and voted on it, I read the thread's subject in an entirely new way just a few minutes ago. I READ..."Ever tire of your cat's food?" I'm rolling, guess I am really beat!

Dammit, If I have one more can of that minced salmon in sauce, I'll just scream!
