We kept them separated for about 4 weeks while we were at work and only let them have supervised time together in the evenings. Bijou is a very laid-back cat tho so I'm sure that is part of the reason they get on so well. He will stand back and let Mika play if we are playing with both of them. He's got a wonderful disposition and we are pleasantly surprised.
well, Pixel doesn't bother Cable... it's the other way around! Cable's always trying to play with her, jumping on her, biting at her - she's not hurting Pix but Pixel doesn't like it & growls & hisses & bats at her. i'm hoping Cable's going to calm down soon!

I know what you mean. Mika is the little instigator when they play rough. She arches her back and walks sideways and then jumps Bijou. He is 15 lbs, she is 5 - she is not intimidated by his size. Bijou just puts up with it - what a great big brother!

That is SOOOOOOO funny! I can just picture the little brat!
Funny...Bijou isn't anything like as old as our Nibs was when Suzy and Sam came into our household (he was about 13), but he was the same way with them...so tolerant! They were little terrors! What is it about the Siamese big brother?

Max is like that! When we brought the white kittens home a year ago, he took right to them. Even now when they get rowdy and jump him from behind, he wrestles with them with no problem. Now Simon and Trouble are too dignified for such things.

My husband says Bijou is just the bestest big brother!

I love your cats but I must say I have a weakness for Max! Go figure.

i think Pixel is just too far removed from kittenhood... it wasn't that long ago for Bijou; maybe that's the difference. anyway, your babes are beautiful!

Beautiful! I've been curious as to what Mika looks like. I have a real weakness for traditional Siamese.

Garfield! What a lovely young fellow. He's just so precious - no wonder you love him so.

Technically we do only have Bijou. Mika belongs to our daughter who decided to move back home after she had gotten Mika. Bijou and Mika get along very well and are a pleasure to watch together.
