2 sweet male cats need home in NY, please help

hi. i need some help. my 3 yr old special needs son recently went through allergy testing to find out what is triggering his athsma so badly. we found out he's allergic to cats. we have 3! the dr said we could only keep one. and that was after begging and explaining how heartbroken my son would be to have no kitties. he adores his kitties! we tried to find a way around it ( cleaning, air filters, meds, etc...) nothing has helped. we decided that since we can only have one that the two who are extremely bonded to each other should have a new home together. i have spread the word to no availe. i posted on pet finder and got no replies really. i posted again and a nice lady directed me here and to a craigs site? i posted there and am now posting here. i need help finding these wonderful cats a new home. we love them dearly and want them to be happy.

Lucky (M) is 7 and a bl. & wh. cat that looks like a tuxedo cat. he is shy at first but warms up quickly and then is VERY affectionate. he is our "talker", too cute!! he is fixed, litter trained, front declawed and healthy.

Jack (M) is 6 yrs old and all black. he is extremely shy and slow to warm up to people. but when he does he is very affectionate as well. he is fixed, litter trained, front declawed and healthy.

both are good with kids of all ages and if they are bothered by someone, just run/walk away. they have NEVER bitten anyone, adult or child. we used to have a dog a long time ago and all the cats were fine with him. they would actually just ignore or run away from him. they have to stay together!! if one is not around the other will cry till they are together again. they groom each other and sleep on each other. they are a sweet pair. they love to snuggle with you in bed too! i will not seperate them or ship them. We live in Niagara Falls, NY.

Please reply or email me if you can help. please feel free to post this other places or to spread the word in general. we are heartbroken over them leaving us, but have to do what's best for our son. we also want to do what's best for our furbabies.

I live in NY also. I feel for your situation and I wish I had the room and expenses to help, but I cannot. We recently adopted Buddy from the cold streets and already have KC. If we had not taken in Buddy a couple of weeks ago, perhaps we could have done it. Although I would not have found this website if we had not taken him in. They sound absoutly wonderful to me. I will spread the word though and maybe someone can find them a home.

thank you for replying so quickly! your kitties are beautiful! we had planned on having many, many kitties till we discovered my sons allergy. now we'll have to absolutely spoil our one remaining kitty (when the other 2 leave) to death!!! i've been looking at all the neat product ads on this site. i didn't know there was so much fun stuff for cats! my pet store doesn't have anything anywhere near the wonderful stuff i've seen here!
