Make a Member Feel Good - 1/25/05 - valanhb

I am told I need to nominate the next member - that is a very hard call. First, I don't know most members these days as half as I wish I did. Second, from those I do know - everyone is so wonderful! So, first of all, to anyone reading this - you're all wonderful and I hope this thread makes everyone feel just a little bit better

But some choices have to be made, so the Oscar goes to my dear friend and moderator here Heidi (aka valanhb).

Heidi, I know recent times haven't been easy on you. Don't forget that you're a wonderful kind person and deserve nothing but the best in life - and you will get it! I love you my friend and I hope this thread brings you a much needed smile!

Heidi is a wonderful choice, and she is a great friend . Gal you know how much I cherish our friendship, and treasure the laughter we share and all the help you give me on my articles, my research etc... I thank you for being there when I need it, for never judging me and just accepting who I am.

You are wise, you are creative, you are full of wit and surprises, and I wish you nothing but the best this year!

Heidi it was you who put Rosie and Sophies pictures on for me in fur pages before i learnt how to copy and paste, along with doing my avatar and for that i thank you so much for being so kind

Oh, Heidi, what can I say? Your friendship is very dear to me; you're the only non-realtor who sees my marketing materials before I send them out...that should tell you something! LOL...Your support has been valued and cherished, your advice freely given, your frienship enormous.

Heidi, one of the best things to have come out of my being a member here is having you as a friend. Even better, I've gotten to meet you in person and found out you're the same in real life as over the 'Net. I admire your passion on the behalf of cats, especially feral cats, and have enjoyed working with you on SPA and Save Samoa. Thanks for being a friend, and here's to Port Clinton this summer!

Yay! Heidi, you've been so helpful to me - both when I was stressing about Baylee (your idea to put things on top of the balcony has been a great success) and when I accidentally missed an episode of The O.C. and needed a synopsis... and so much more! You're so kind and sweet... thanks!

Heidi, I'm so glad Anne nominated you, because I rarely take the time to thank you for all you do, and for putting up with me bugging you all the time to do stuff for me, when I know you're busy with other stuff! I had to do some looking back, since my memory isn't too good sometimes, but you were the very first to welcome me here too, just a year and a half ago! Seems like we've both been here forever, doesn't it? Thanks again for all you do, and all the time you spend here!

I actually saw this thread this morning and have been looking at it off and on all day, and every time it made me smile. Thank you everyone who posted here! You really have made me feel very special today.
