Well this one was weird.....sorry.

The question was:

When you pass on, do you want to be cremated??

Sometimes I think I want to be cremated just because the decomposing thing is just a weird thought for me. But I think that it would be easier on my family if I were buried whole hehe. I think that when the time comes to plan I will have to consult my loved ones and come to a decision after that. If they don't care i think I would like to be cremated.

Yep, but I guess I should ask my husband what he wants to do. My parents are planning to be cremated. When my brother and I were younger they let us pick the niches where their urns will be placed at the cemetary. (They have already put plans into place and paid for it.) It really made us more comfortable with the whole thing and allowed us to be part of the process.

Oh yes i want to be cremated. It's just the thought of lying in the ground on cold winter nights

My friend Mark who's an undertaker has all my instructions as well because afterwards i want my ashes scattered in the sea where mum and dad are

Yup... I've always told people too, and that I'd like my ashes scattered in a garden, like my grandparents had done. Or one of them did.

my mother has requested to be cremated but i dont know where to scatter her... i think i will have to do a tour of scotland, england, italy, australia
maybe only the Uk and australia to scatter her ashes.

But it is indeed a very good question. Because we never know when we are going to... pass on... welll i saw this shop here and they have coffins on their window its freaky but i have seen a nice coffin that i would like. id rather save space by getting cremated and be put in a cemetary.
But i would ask my loved ones to take some of my ashes and scatter it in my most precious place.

I want to be buried, my loved ones have let me know that they want a place to "come visit me". That's not funny...but it is. I don't get it but if it will make them feel better, so be it. What will I care? I'll be dead!

Yes, definitely I want to be cremated. I don't know at this point whether I'll ask to have my ashes scattered somewhere -- or where that might be -- or to be buried.

My Mum's ashes are buried, and my brother visits her often (a little far for me). Dad will join her there when the time comes. Rob's Dad asked to be scattered over the water that's near their home, and visible from their window. Either route appeals to me greatly, and really depends on whether I decide between now and then on a place to be scattered.

Yep...cremated all the way. I'll be dead, so I won't care...and a funeral would cost a fortune. So...go ahead a bake me extra crispy!

Cremated - I have had a phobia my whole life (major nightmares) of being buried alive! Maybe that is why I am claustrophobic!

Yup. I had Russ cremated (per his wishes) and I've got a spot, right next to him. The VA buries spouses for free and there's no sense spending a bunch of money on me, after I'm dead.
