Litter Robot vs. Littermaid

I know there's been a few threads about the self-cleaning boxes, but as I'll be getting my tax refund soon I think I'll finally invest in one. From what I've read so far, the Littermaid has a lot of flaws with it but the Litter Robot works great. If anyone can share some experiences with either, it would be greatly appreciated. I have four cats, three of them are kittens, if that makes a difference.

I've used a Littermaid before. It only lasted a few months. In the end, it was more of hassle to clean than an plain litter box. I threw it out, and got a Booda Dome instead. MUCH easier to clean.

As for the Litterbot, I don't think it's worth the money.
