Yeah! Shouldn't this be an official work holiday?

No one should have to work if they are depressed.

Sounds good to me!! Especially since I ended up getting the day off because of the snow, and I still have to shovel the driveway.

Wonder who stated that this is Officially the Most Depressing Day Of The Year.....or who made it official. Just curious where the information came from. I always thought that December was the most depressing month of the year. Although, today will do fine for me, since it is uncharacteristically cloudy and gloomy and raining like crazy and chilly here in what is usually a sunny and warm part of the country. No wonder I didn't want to get out of bed this morning!!

Some doctor/scientist came up with a formula for calculating it. Check the link in my first post.....I think it has his name.

it is a very depressing day. It's 5 degrees, my coworker quit, my football team lost the afc championship, i have been informed that i will be coworkerless for some time, me and bf are on the outs a little, my shirt is fuzzy, and it's going to snow on my ride home tonite. And due to work stress I smoke again. sort of. not that much though..

I've always thought the 2nd of January was THE most depressing day of the year, first of all it Jan 2nd is the day that's furthest away from The Holidays, and most important of all, it was the first day back to school after the Holiday vacation. Yuck! I've always hated Jan 2nd.

I agree with Stevie and Ilovecats.. I was actually really happy the last few days despite the HELL
that was the last few months... Now, Im scared to leave my house because I dont need anything bad to happen... Maybe I'll just stay in today and write in my journal... I can't get into any trouble doing that...

Poor Jake, his birthday is today and its on the most depressing day of the year??
It is far from depressing for us - for he booked his tickets to NZ today and I have already gotten mine.
Naw, depressing day, just a state of mind
