What? Everyone's birthday is exciting! In fact, I'm about ready to put up my own birthday ticker... it's a month away!

Any plans for your birthdays Ari and Laureen. As mine is a "biggie" hubby and I (and no kids!!!) are off to Disneyland Paris to race around the rides like children for a couple of days. On my birthday we're having dinner in the Blue Lagoon Restaurant which is in the Pirates of the Carribean ride. It's beautiful, the boats for the ride sail through a "river" with trees overhead past the restaurant, which is like a restaurant on a carribean beach under the moonlight. All low lighting, candles on the tables and crickets chirping. It serves carribean style cooking and cocktails. It's wonderful. Very atmospheric. Then I think we'll be retiring to the Piano Bar in the Disneyland Hotel for quiet drinks listening to the music.

so, you're a day older than me, huh, Ari?

no plans as yet... probably same old, same old - my parents take me out to dinner (not that that's bad, but it's not new!) usually Outback Steakhouse, my fave restaurant... too expensive for everyday, but once a year, they're okay w/it.

Beth - your birthday sounds fabulous! I'm jealous! I'm not sure what the plans are for my birthday... as of right now I'm scheduled to work an 11 hour long day (starting at 6am and ending at 11pm, dang split shift) but I asked off. However February is a very important, very stressful month in the TV biz so vacation requests are rarely granted... if I even get my birthday off I'll be so happy that I won't even need to do anything!

Laureen... I just realized how obvious our birthdays are... my user name is pinkdaisy226 and yours is laureen227. Lol. We should've realized! And yes, I'm just a day older than you... that's it.

Yeah, maybe same old, same old - but so nice to hang out at your favourite spot with people you love. If this wasn't a biggie I'd be at our favourite Indian restaurant with hubby and the kids.

Yuk - working an 11 hour day stinks. I did a 12 hour day on my birthday a couple of years ago - I was really miserable
. I hope your boss gives you the day off.

Mine's the 19th - eek I'm the oldest of the lot

By a whole week! Phew!

Ew that bites that you had to work a 12 hour day. I'm gonna be so sad if I have to... but honestly, I don't even know what I'd want to do! I guess eat out, maybe a movie? I can't think of anything!

I should add a ticker for my birthday in March! I'll only be 20, but I feel like I'm getting old!

Are you going somewhere special you're looking forward to?
Nothing comes to mind, Beth, thank you for the suggestion. Great idea for your Ticker, hope you have a fantastic time in Paris!
Perhaps I could count down to Sierra's birthday!

Mmm, very wise!!
. You've made me feel old now, you're only 2 years older than my daughter - eeeeekkk! Oh well, I s'pose it's worth mentioning that I'm still only 16 in my head - if that counts.

11 Wow - she looks so young on photos. As you celebrate it so well that's definitely something to count down to. How lovely to have spent more than 10 years with your special girl - here's to many more to come
. Tippy will be 9 this year.
