Almost Over! SICK!

I'm sick, y'all! I've lost 4 pounds thru this, and I might not drink the 2nd bottle of stuff. I am going constantly. I will need some Desitin for diaper rash after all this.
It will be worth it, if I am ok, though.
My best friend Shannon is coming to get me at 8:30 to take me. The procedure (as they call it) will be at 10. Afterwards, she will bring me home. They won't let me drive.
Times like these make me feel lonely.
I will hopefully feel like fixing some solid food tomorrow afternoon.

Aww don't feel lonely - you've got 8,000 TCS friends wishing you well. I hope your furbabies are making a fuss of you. Anything you can do to take your mind off feeling poorly (I know - some hope!!) - maybe watch your favourite film or something?

I feel sick too......and I haven't even started "going" yet.

I am a lot better! I am totally empty and won't drink the 2nd bottle. I am already totally clear (except it is yellowy).All of you here are angels.

I feel for ya....
I had to drink a big 'ol jug of some crap that tasted like ocean salt water
till I thought I would puke if I even smelled it again.
Missed out on what procedure you are having, but Good Luck!

Lots of love for you guys! I had one of those about 2 1/2 years ago, and the prep was aaawfuuuul! The "procedure" itself was fine (don't remember any of it, they had me drugged up-yes, against my wishes, but probably for the better!
). I'm sure that everything will be just fine and squeeky clean (sorry, couldn't help myself) and you will have another tale to tell! I laughed so hard about the chapped butt comment...Yes, I don't care how many years go by, I will never forget that!

Take it easy, guys, and keep us updated!

Thank you, bossinova, sar, and everyone! It's Monday A.M., and I have an hour before Shannon comes to get me.
I'm nervous.
I think I will have to have one every year since they did the ileostomy and the reversal last year.

I pray all is well.

I do not KNOW what I will want to eat. A chick-fil-a sounds good, but i would hate to ask Shannon to take me by there.

Yep....almost over!

I'm going to eat for the rest of the day. I don't know what yet....but I'm off work....so I'm going to make a complete pig of myself.


I have about 2 1/2 hours before I leave.

Ohhh guys, we all will probably have to go through this at least once in our lives. I've read that everyone at least over 50 should get one.........just hang in there and it will be a memory soon!
