Hi there.

I am planning a trip to England for almost 2 months. Not only have I not been away from home this long but never have I been away from my cat this long either.

Leo is my pride and joy.... Im not sure how he'll react to me leaving.
I live at home with my parents. I have a terrible feeling he'll feel really alone although we have a dog in the house and another cat.

Baby, the other cat is very old so she mostly sleeps... and Hunter is our Lab. My parents tend to pay more attention to Hunter than the cats.. But I give Baby and Leo all my love.. all my time .. I play with Leo every day. Leo gets a lot of attention from me. He's my baby. He sleeps under the covers.. he follows me around.. The list is endless..

The last time i went to England was just for a week.. but this is going to be a lot longer...
How do you think he will react to it?
I'm torn between seeing my boyfriend and staying home with my cat...

I know that my parents will feed him and play with him and love him.. but just not as much as I would.. which worries me.. I'm scared of what Leos Behavior will be like while I'm gone and when i get home.

Your parent's will be looking after Leo so I'm sure he'll be fine. Just give him lots of love before you leave. Cats can tell when their owner is about to leave for a long period of time. They tend to get more affectionate when the departure date arrives. That was the case with Miko.

He actually might end up more loving after your gone. It seems the more you ignore them the more they want you sometimes. Maybe he will realize he misses you. Distance makes the heart grow fonder.

Oh you know it! Leo will get tons of extra love.. I plan on taking some photos of him before I leave too... I'll stick em up on Dans wall when i get to Norwich.. lol he loves leo too.
He was saying on the phone today " I hope you don't shorten your trip for Leo.. You really do love your cat more than me"
hhehee..
You can't compare kitty love to Human love... They're on two different scales.

Whenever I go out of town.. the cats know but they tend to snub me.. :<
But when I return.. its like "Oooh mommy mommy mommy.. I love you I miss you.. i wuv you.." they wanna be loved
