We have several pieces of comfortable, cat-accessible furniture: two sofas, a love seat,a LaZBoy, thickly-cushioned dining chairs and a queen-sized pillow-top bed. It would seem that any NORMAL human/cat/dog would be quite content with these. NOT Rowdy! This morning, she pulled a towel off the rack, arranged it on the bathroom floor and reclined in there, for several hours. Go figure!

Opie and Buddy had the right idea: Opie was on the overstuffed living-room sofa and Buddy was back in bed with Bill. Sometimes, I wonder what is going on in Rowdy's head.

You know....Thomas is like that. He'll sleep on the tables or on the bathroom floor and I always go pick him and say, "Don't you want to sleep where it's warmer and more comfortable?" And I'll put him on the couch or on my bed....and he always goes back to the "hard surfaces." I don't know why he does that......but he seems to prefer solid sleeping surfaces as opposed to the soft cushy ones.

Maybe she likes the smell of the towel. I had to stop buying Herbal Essence shampoo and conditioner because Jamie wouldn't leave our hair or towels alone. At the moment he's captivated with the Aloe Vera laundry detergent.

It IS always one of Bill's towels. She leaves mine alone.

Fawn constantly pulls Rob's bathtowel off the rack in the main bathroom, usually dropping it in the water dish
, and she attacks my robe that hangs on a hook in the ensuite. Every so often, she gets it off the hook. But in neither case does she lie down on the fallen fabric. I haven't actually seen her at the towel, but when she gets my robe down, she jumps back from its "attack" with saucer eyes and darts a few feet away to look daggers at it. She's the one who attacks hanging fabric, not either of the others, so I'm sure it's her with Rob's towel, too. I rather imagine her response to its fall is the same. Weird cat.
