Thanks everyone for your replies. It really does mean a lot to me. I'd rather not discuss what happened right now -- I don't think I'm able to. I just wanted to know if you had any advice as to what I can do.

I can't stop crying and my heart really hurts just thinking about what happened. It feels like a dream but I know it's not and I don't know what to do with myself.

Awww, I know that feeling. We've lost a couple cats suddenly one to be hit by a car and one went into siezures and died very quickly when she was perfectly healthy a minute before.

I know it hurts very badly now and it will for a while to come but you have to let your grief run it's course and though it doesn't seem possible right now each day will be a bit better. Hang in there, we are all here for you.

It's not easy. In fact, learning to cope with the loss of a loved one is probably one of the most difficult things we have to deal with in life. I'm so sorry you lost Tinkerbell. Trust me, it will begin to hurt less - just give yourself some time.

I just want to say thank you all for your kind words. The house just seems so empty without her. I miss her very much.

I just hope that she knew that I loved her very much and will miss her.
There's no doubt in my mind that she knows how much you love her, and how much you miss her. You may feel her lick the tears away as you cry. She's still with you, in your heart and with you from the Bridge where she watches and loves you still and always.

I'm terribly sorry for your sudden loss...
