What is wrong with people?

Ok, I'm in Wisconsin & we are getting slammed with snow. So the plow comes through & i thought I'd go out & see if I could clean off my car, well my car was barried. I wasn't sure how I was going to get out, but my neighbor came over & dug me out, which i totally appreciate. So I decided just to drive around the block to see if I really wanted to go anywhere today. well I was still debating until I pulled on to my road & this total idiot (that's the nicest word i can think of) is driving with the foot of snow will on his car, except a small area on his windsheild & he's driving with his door open hanging out. He starts driving towards me & I honk, he leans out & starts swearing at me to back up & get out of his way & continues to drive at my car & almost hits my car. At this point I loose it and flip him off. frankly I'm still shaking, As I'm backing up he keeps coming towards my car & got with in an inch of hitting my car. He turns to go on another road & I open my window to yell at him, when I tell him he's stuipd (insert naughty curse words in with that) & tell him he almost hit my car, he says "I know".
AHHHHHHHHHHH, This is exactly why I like cats better than people!!! But I do have to say that my neighbor supprised me because I figured he'd just give me his shovle to use, but he did the shoveling for me,
so right now I'm trying to focus on the fact that there are some good people left in the world.

That was really nice of your neighbor. You should bake some cookies for him.

I'm sorry you had to have a run in with a jerk like that. You flipped him off, huh?
Sometimes its difficult for me to understand why homeless people have to have horrible lives, and people like that get to be able to drive.

What a nice neighbor!! as for the other driver, his response of "I Know" when told that he almost hit your car was a form of "I meant to do that", meant to save face, but comes off resembling a rat's behind (as well as demonstrating lousy winter-driving skills)! Reminds me of when a woman in the slow lane suddenly cut in front of me in the fast lane, to make a left turn into the K-Mart parking lot. I went there too, and called to her, "Excuse me, ma'am, but your turn signals aren't working!" She retorted,"Yes, they do! I just didn't want to use them!" "Ahhh, cockpit error," I replied, which received laughs & guffaws from bystanders. She flipped me off, but I ignored it, hoping that she would get such satisfaction that she'd mellow out & be kinder to the store clerks than she was to her fellow drivers.

Top honors to your neighbor who knows how to be a good one. As for the other driver, his "I know" when told he almost hit your car was another form of "I meant to do that! (announced to all and sunder when doing a faux-pas), probably not intentional in the beginning, but a sorry attempt to save face (and looking like a rat's behind, instead) in what was a public display of obviously inadequate winter driving skills. I'm glad someone wasn't hurt in a collison - my truck was broadsided in a blizzard, and I have permanent neck injury which causes pain daily, and I haven't ridden a horse, rock climbed or skiied since the accident (1998). That guy should be glad he just got a tongue lashing, and not a lawsuit or a jail sentence (if he'd caused an accident).
