Would you consider being on any of the reality TV shows? And if so which ones and why?

I just saw a commercial for Trading Spouses and it got me to thinking who would want to do such a thing
I know being on any of those shows isn't for me...I want to hide from regular cameras, I can't imagine actually being on TV and being seen by millions of people!

So would ya do one for the money, for the fun of it or just for some notoriety!

I would love to be on the Amazing Race or the Mole. Those seem to be better then the others - travel, etc.

If dh and I could do one of the "live as they did in the 1800's shows" (i.e. Pioneer House or Frontier House), we'd do it in a minute...if jobs and ancient beloved critters were not factors.

We would love to build our own home, see if we could handle growing our own food, hunting/fishing...basically homesteading.

I often thought it would be fun to be on the Amazing Race too. I told my boyfriend that he and I would do great on that one! Plus, I think it would be fun to see all the neat places they go to.

I would consider it for shows like "Who gets the dog", "Biggest Loser", and maybe a TAMER version of "fear factor" (no dangerous or disease causing stunts such as scooping up scorpions in your mouth, getting covered with bees, et). BUT (and it is a big one),

These shows aren't REALLY representative of REAL people. They are obscure actors or actor wannabees that have perfect BLINDLY white teeth, totally toned bodies (except for biggest loser), great "careers". I would LOVE to see a reality show that would sign me on
. I have regular color teeth (not snow white), I am short 5'1, overweight by about 30 lbs, have a VERY small chest, and I have a flat nose and a blind eye (other than that, I am a real cutie LOL!)

When reality shows start putting REAL people on the shows and not ken and barbie, I will be more likely to believe they are "real".

So, yes, given more honest circumstances, I would love to take a shot at being on one.

I'd like to be on Extreme Makeover, Home Addition. I'd love to get a brand new beautiful new home built just for me.

Ok... I know I'm going to get completely slammed for this, but I actually downloaded, printed, and filled out the application for The Swan 2. I never did make a video or send in the application though. I think I chickened out.

Seriously though.. I would love to be on a show that will provide me with free lipo & a tuck.'

I actually liked that show. They really did work with both women to help them not only look better but more importantly feel better about themselves because they look better but they also address some issues in therapy. To me that seems to not only be helping them inwardly but outwardly and not just one of the two people involved, but both walk away winners. The women themselves are SO shocked, touched, overwhelmed when they look in the mirror at the end .. to me that just really says it all and anyone who has not watched the whole show and just considers it bad because it has to do with plastic surgery is missing something good. I almost did not watch it on the basis that it might have been totally the oppisate of what it is.. but I am glad I watched it because I saw how life changing a little bit of surgery and therapy could do for the human soul and spirit.
