One of my classmates, Jo Jo...came over last night and I could've killed her! She picked up Hoshi and started slinging her around and tossing her up into the air and pissing her off very badly...I kept telling her to put my cat down (I'm sorry but you just don't come into someone's house, pick their cat up and start slinging it around like their a toy!) and she wouldn't listen to me...so Hoshi took matters into her own hands and smacked her in the face...I'm so proud of her! ^_^
My grandmother said "but she's the animal groomer"...so what if she's the "animal groomer" you do NOT treat cats or any other animal that way no matter what! She came into MY house treating MY cat that way...if my grandmother wasn't there I would've said much more to her than what I did...Jo kept telling me "she's a cat, I do my cat this way all the time.."...well Hoshi is NOT her cat...and she wouldn't listen to me, she kept talking to me like I was overreacting! She also was trying to do Baby the same way (Baby is my nervous kitty and spooks real easily), but Jo was still scaring the hoo-ha out of her...grrr I'm so mad right now.

I can understand why you're angry. I've had people do that here also.....but not MY friends.....usually my oldest daughter's friends. (she's 21) I even told one of them, when I happened to walk in and catch them holding one of my cats upside down.........if you like to torture small animals.....then please leave...because you're not going to torture mine.

I would have literally taken the cat away from her. She showed a total lack of respect by doing it firstly and not listening to you when you told her to stop secondly.

This isn't a friend!

When I'm faced with any kind of confrontation, I freak. Plus I was holding back a lot (considering my grandmother was in the room). We're not all that close at all...this is the same girl who at one time pulled the front of her pants down to show Jeremy (my fiance a tattoo, to me that is also disrespecful). *sigh* I was just so frustrated at the whole situation...to me that is equivilant to someone picking up your baby and throwing them. It's just not right.

I would have very calmly told her, "This might be what you do with your cats, but this is my cat, and I will not permit you to do this to my cat. Now put my cat down right now, or I will have to take you outside and kill you."

I dont quite understand... WHY, exactly was this horrible person in your house in the first place? Especially, after the tattoo incident...

If someone treated any of my animals that way, they would never be allowed inside my home again. And I would immediately step in and protect my cat from them, even if I had to take him away physically and risk a physical confrontation with the offensive person. It is my job, as I see it, to protect my babies, and I take it very seriously.

I had forgotten about the tattoo incident until last night. She's always been a very outgoing girl especially with the guys, she's a big flirt and a flirt messing with your fiance isn't good when you're a very jealous girl when it comes to him..plus her treating my babies like that was just horrible...I litterally could've hit her..and like I said just just kept talking to me like I was overreacting! grrr..

You were NOT over-reacting. Not in the slightest. Nor would it be over-reacting to refuse her entry to your home. Quite apart from the arrogance and disrespect she displays, you have your kitties' welfare to consider.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
You did a LOT better than I would have in a situation like that, I am afraid in addition to telling her what a bu--head she was I would have told her to LEAVE NOW AND DON'T COME BACK!!!!!!! I would think that a "animal person" especially one who has cats of their own would know better than that!! Unless they are brain damaged!! Good for Hoshi for smacking her I say
. I don't blame you one little bit and congratulate you for not royally telling her off as she deserved IMHO

...is when I would have punched her in her face! That is totally disrespectful!!
I almost got into a fist fight with my ex's sister-in-law once because she flashed my ex right in front of me... My ex had to physically pull me out of the room because I was furious!!!
I try not to be confrontational but when you really piss me off, all bets are off! If I had even let her into my house after the first thing she did and she tried that with my cat, I woulda spazzed! My cat is my baby and anyone who does anything to hurt him will have to deal with me!! The only good thing is that Malakai would have done the same thing and smacked her first! LoL

If I were you, I would not let that woman back into my house....who's to say that there wouldn't be another instance of her outrageousness? That girl has a lot of nerve!!!

I know how you feel. My friends are pretty good, but my boyfriend's friends spun Summer around in a chair and thought it was funny. My boyfriend mentioned it to me and then said he was joking, that is untol last night when his stupid friend was watching a video of someone spinning a cat really fast on the ground and he said "Hey remember when I spun your cat around in the chair?!?!" Pissed me off that my boyfriend lied. I told him I'd be VERY pissed if he let such a thing happen again! Hope he got the message.
