No, really!

The high today was over 70 degrees, which breaks the high temperature record. You just don't see the 70s in Colorado in January!
This is such a welcome break from winter. I don't even need a coat today!

Oh YEAH...Same here, Okee

I am SOOOOOOOOOO sick of winter weather and that snowstorm this weekend will stop my DD and her hubby and my other DD from travelling here to celebrate my baby granddaughter's first birthday
I live in Mid-Ohio...
I would NOT want them to battle a snowstorm/whiteouts etc. to get here for something like that, but I SO want to get together with them!! My little baby granddaughter, Emma Anne was born 3 months early and only weighed TWO POUNDS at birth!! Not only is she growing SO well now (she looks like she is about 6 months old--but is doing everything like a one year old!!
)
BUT she is really, really thriving now too!!! YAY!!!
(I'm going to try and link a picture of her, just to cheer me up!

Today was pretty warm hewre: 55 degrees. The low has been 19 or so, and the high Monday was 40! I have bus duty outside from 7:30-8:00, and I about freeze my little buns off.

he-he 78 degrees here in sunny Arizona! Love the weather here! Winter only lasts about 2 months. It is almost spring already. This winter I did not turn the heat on in my house even once all winter, just to see if I could do it, and to save money. I was chilly a few evenings, but a person can live here without any heat at all, all winter.

Does your a/c bill make up for it?

70 degrees? Good God, I'm so jealous I can't even stand myself!

We're expecting that snowstorm here as well.

Sure, if I can get out of my parking lot! I live in the secondary snowbelt, so if there's a lake effect part of the storm I'm going to be in trouble.

OK - enough already! It was -24 C when I went out to start my car this morning with the wind chill making it more like -35 C. Fortunately, it has climbed to -12 since this morning
. Have a great weekend folks - I'm staying in and keeping warm!

That's crazy - last week they were showing people in Colorado jumping out of their cars, because they couldn't stop, and crashing into other cars. It must make a nice change!
We've had fairly mild weather the past few weeks (30s and 40s), but are expecting snow tonight and tomorrow. Anybody from North America or Russia would laugh at what is considered "a lot of snow" here, though. My husband and I got "snowed in" in the Black Forest a couple of years ago - I think there was about a foot of snow.
