It's been a few days since I've posted...

Last Friday night I logged off the internet and when I tried to get back on Saturday morning, I couldn't! I have tried the things that worked in the past and they haven't been successful. So I am at the library using their cable modem (I loooove it!) until I get my computer figured out. Not sure when I'll be able to post again, but I'll be thinking of you all!

Oh no! I've missed reading your posts and I was wondering what had happened to you. I don't know how you get your internet service, or if you've already checked this, but if you have any type of external modum(sp?) try checking the connections and push them in to make sure they're tight.

At my house, my son has our computers networked together using a hub. When one of our computers won't access the internet, the first thing we do is check all the external connections, and that's usually where the problem is.

Oh no, no more stories from Jasper T until the puter is fixed? Bijou will be upset. He loves talkin to the two Jaspers and all their friends.

We send good vibes to get the puter fixed (inexpensively) real soon!

I wondered where you got to Jan?!.

Ohhhhhhhhhh...what a PAIN for you!!! I am glad the library is sort of close for you--but NOT as convenient for sure, as just clicking on your OWN computer!!!

Mom hates that commercial! I would love to call them but I'm sure they want to be paid!

I have my own computer techs, but one is in Terre Haute Indiana (2 hour drive) and the other - his son, is in Arkansas. I've already called and talked to them and got some suggestions on what may be wrong. May have to monopolize sis' computer one day to download the programs cuz recommended.. Unfortunately she moved it into the house from her garage office and I hate bothering bro-in-law (early retirement due to leg amputation.)

Everything works fine but the internet program. It has been suggested I get a new copy and load it. Need the internet for that, tho!

I'll check in when I can!

ooh nasty - I lost my internet connection for over two weeks (bad router!!!) I hated not being able to talk to friends on TCS! I hope you get it mended soon.
