Yikes, what does that say about me for watching it? I'm 30!

I know! Ick! And I can't believe Paris did that to Jamie. Hey, what happened to the life coach she brought with her? Did I miss something? Did she get rid of him? (I don't always catch all the episodes.) Shouldn't the life coach be intervening in this debacle?

I wish I had Tivo too, especially since I can't figure out how to work the timer on the VCR. When I start my internship, I'm only going to be able to watch 2 episodes a week. OMG! What will I do????

BTW, Jess is back????? Hello!!!! That is the one thing that is starting to bother me--he's gone, he's back, he's gone, he's back. Make up your mind already!

Hmmmm, I didn't find Gilmore Girls teenagerish at all, in fact, I think it's more mature than most of the teenybopper shows on TV these days. Gilmore Girls is one of the one shows of its type that I like, but I love the quirky characters and the troubles they get into. It's so realistic and yet fantastic at the same time.

I think the life coach comes back a bit later in the season, and we get a reason as to his disappearance. But he did disappear rather randomly.

Yikes, only 2 episodes a week? Oh my, how will you survive?!?! Luckily, by the time my classes start the 4th season will be over and I'll be all caught up. Actually, that's kind of sad, I'll only have one episode a week to look forward to (on the WB).

You think Jess' return is remarkable? I think his return isn't that significant, but you'll see by the end of the season who comes back... let me tell you, your jaw will drop. Don't worry I won't spoil anything for you... and you'll know what I'm talking about. Revive this thread/PM me when you get there!

It's coming back in 5 days! I have no idea why it's taking so long but it really bites!

Kirk is hilarious - I love how he does every job around town. My boyfriend's fave charactor is Luke. I guess I like the Lorelai's!

Ditto that.

My bf hardly ever watches with me--he usually gets home from work with like 10 mins left in the show. But from the few times he has seen it, his favorite is Paris--he can't remember anyone's name though, so he calls her "that crazy girl who couldn't get into Harvard" from that episode when she went bonkers during the speech she and Rory were giving together. And he calls Rory and Lorelai as a pair "Roraree." Sheesh. Boys!

Though please get rid of that guitar/harmonica player, or at least get one that can carry a tune!

I didn't watch it when it first started but I've seen random episodes here and there. Where would the cheapest place to get the series on DVD be? On Amazon it is 80$ for the First and Second seasons!!

The Gilmore Girls characters are sharp. The dialogue is quick and pointed... I really admire the show's writers.

I have to disagree with you, Sam. The wit of GG is far from being 'teenagerish.... I would actually say that the show's language, dialogue, and plots are fast-paced and interesting...

JMO, of course.

Maybe it's because here in NZ I only know Teenagers that watch it and that's what gives that teenager image in my mind. Anyway, don't wanna kill your spirit.

Sam.

It could also be that you don't have quite as many inane and superficial programs on TV as we do here. I haven't seen NZ TV so I can't comment.
