I got the internship!

Yesterday I finally had my interview for an internship at a child advocacy organization here (it was originally scheduled for 1/11 but got postponed twice). And I got it! Not only that, but it was originally supposed to be with just the communications department and now it is going be a joint internship with the communications and development departments. And they already have some projects in mind that they want me to work on, things they don't normally give to interns but that they'd like me to do because of my past work experience. I am SO excited! It looks like I will be starting next week. I should be able to get some great experience there and finally get on the road towards doing something with my life! Happy dance!

I extend my congratulations as well Stephanie - then again, I always knew you would - I saw it in the pm's we exchanged over the last couple of weeks. You were brimming with confidence and deserved it. Tell me what happened sometime, what they asked and how you blew them away with your answers.
