Well, I broke my big toe
DONT DO IT!! Hehe!
I have found that nothing can be done, other than wrapping, and staying off of it.

I can't stay off of it, I have to work (I am new at my job and have no leave) so I have a special insert for my shoe that makes sure no pressure is put on my toe.

So please WATCH YOUR TOES!!!!

Can I have some vibes that it will feel better soon?

Again, WATCH YOUR TOES!!!!

Get well vibes headed your way! Well, try to keep off of it as much as possible then.

I know the feeling, I broke the toe next to my big toe when I was young. Didn't hurt until I woke up the next morning. I never had such a painful experience as I did trying to walk down the stairs that morning!

Ashley, I've had hammertoe surgery and can, on some level understand your pain! Before you know it you'll be able to walk normal again!
And then you'll be able to walk faster

All kidding aside, get well soon!

awwwwwww Ash - you broke your big toe
oh you poor thing!!!

I broke my big toe once - it was when I was living in the USA and I had just booked a flight to Aspen to go skiing
- I was so beside myself with excitement that I broke my toe by stubbing it on the stairs as I was walking down them
yes I did say walking down them

I know how you feel my friend - sending lots of ((((get better quickly vibes)))))

Ah, yes, I remember foggily rolling over and flinging my foot out of bed one morning -- and having it slide off the back of a cat who got in the way just at the critical moment. Toe went whacking straight into the floor -- OH OH OH OUCH OUCH OUCH -- not funny at all. Take it as easy as you can, Ashley, and hope it's feeling better soon!

I can sympathise! I broke my toe once, standing in the canteen at work, and a large oxygen cylinder (used for the drinks bar) fell on my foot. What made it worse was that I was 6 months pregnant at the time! All my colleagues and friends said it was so funny to see me walk, a kind of limpy waddle.

OUCH! That's gotta hurt.
I've broken several toes over the years and I know how bad it hurts. Once I thought I had broken my toe, the one next to the little toe, and I had a softball tournament coming up so I went to the doctor to see if there was anything he could do. As it turns out, it was dislocated....not broken. He pulled it back into place (YYYYOOOOWWW!!) and splinted it and it was better in a couple of days.

Ashley, I know how you feel too! Once when I was in the shelter before my Mom adopted me, some lady and her kid came near me while I was walking on the floor and the little kid stepped on my right front paw. Imagine the "whole paw" being stepped on. Lucky you, only one (1) toe is hurting! Meow very soon! Love, Angel xoxo

I hope you feel better, I know how big of a "pain" that can be. Lst year, my wife and I were walking in a parking lot in the middle of winter. There was this big chunk of snow in front of me, so I just decided to give it a good strong kick. There was one problem however, it wasn't just snow, it was a huge chunk of ice that was frozen solid to the ground. It didn't move and my big toe paid the price. I don't think it was broken, but the nail turned black and eventually fell off.
