Amy this must have been a pet peeve for almost all of Colorado! They passed a law last year that makes that a ticketable offense!!!

I have most of the same pet peeves all of you do! (the TP coming from the bottom, open cupboards, slow drivers in the fast lane, etc..etc..)

Here are some of my others:

My daughter Nikki (KatzLuver93) dropping wrappers on the floor or leaving them on the computer desk instead of walking the 10 feet to the trashcan.

At work, I hate it when nightshift leaves empty IV fluid bags hanging so that I have to replace them all first thing. This falls in the same category as leaving an empty toilet paper roll..........just replace it....it only takes a minute.

I get peeved when I'm in a hurry and the person in front of me at the cashier wants to stand there and chit-chat forever while I'm standing there waiting.

I always drink diet coke......so I really hate it when I go through a fast food drivethru and order diet coke only to find out once I pull away that it's regular coke.

Me too, Heidi, drives me crazy, the same with open drawers, and I do the very same thing at friends' homes!

My biggest pet peeve is when someone smacks or chomps their gum or eats with their mouth open or making slurping sounds. I can't stand it, it just drives me absolutely insane!

I hate the men's (or boy's usually) style of pants that hang lower than their hips with their boxers showing.

I can't stand it when people sniffle all day rather than blowing their nose.

I get really ticked off when people in the grocery store let their grocery cart take up the middle of the aisle. Why don't they park the buggy to the side so people can get by?

I cant stand the messy hair style fad, on 99.9% of the people it just looks like utter crap, unless your an animated character with bushy green or purple hair. BRUSH OR COMB YOUR DAMN HAIR! Don't just roll out of bed and spend a half hour or more on your hair to make it look like you just rolled out of bed and forgot to wash your hair! It is stupid as all hell, it looks bad and it makes you look like a kid who cant brush their hair!!!!

Edit:
when people leave clothes all over the bedroom floor instead of using a laundry basket

clothes left in the bathroom instead of the laundry basket

cups or plates left sitting around the house

shoes left on the floors where I walk instead of on a shoe rack

papers and mail sitting forever then finding its way to bags to sit around more

lol it peeves me when my bf cooks and he just leaces everything there and not put it away. same goes for his wrappers and his ashtray. it smells when he doesnt empty it and clean it!!!

toilet paper factor too applies to me! this is why the toilet paper rolls are now stuck in the bathroom.

Having braces and watching people pick their food too... i know people would hate me doing it but i really need to get it out of my braces if i dont have toothpicks!

Cupboards and drawers open i hate it!!!
andddd
when people dont put their dirty clothes in the washing basket and instead they leave it laying around their bedrooms.

i know someone who does this with their undies and *makes an ugly face*
she just leaves them there, very dirty and then the room smells!

I forgot about this one. I work with a lady who does this ALL the time. While she is eating she does this too. She also licks her fingers and then touches the computer screens!! (We have touch screen computers where I work)

What is it with public bathrooms? Can anyone explain why, whoever invented the doors to them, that they have them open inward towards the toilet bowl? So here you are having to go real bad, trying to finagle your way in.

And the funniest part of it is, the door extends the whole length up to the bowl, so you open the door and have to wiggle your way around the bowl in order to close the door. Then once you're finished you have to just about climb on top of the toilet bowl to open the door to get out!

And to go one step further, the toilet paper seems to just rip off one sheet at a time, until your whole hand has to go up into the contraption to grab onto, what will now be, the next 'sheet' and so on....and so on.....

ooooo this is a funny thread

people who stand in the middle of the shopping aisle - like, GET OUT OF THE WAY! Sheesh

Long toenails - I absolutely cannot stand looking at peoples feet, especially when they have long toenails *shudders* Please clip them!

Jake has this habit of standing in front of me when we are talking to people and he kinda sways side to side, like hes shifting from foot to foot, and Im swaying back and forth so I can see whats going on. It drives me CRAZY! He forgets I am so short and he is so tall!

OK- I thought of another one...people who take up your personal space...like when they're talking to you and lean right into your face.

My uncle sucks his teeth ALL the time. Everyone is always telling him to stop.

OH! Here is another one.. When someone is eating something, and they make all kinds of MMMM's and Ummm's and other little moaning noises when they eat. Just say, "This is really good.", and leave it at that!

Hubby has been putting me through that for almost 25 years!
I hate it when visitors go outside to get something out of their car, and leave the front door wide open, although they know you have pets.
People who insist on picking up my cat after I tell them that I'm the only one who can pick him up, and then rant and rave about how vicious he is because he bites them.
Fellow shelter volunteers who aren't honest with potential adopters about existing health problems.

I can't stand when people don't close the door right away!

How about when people pick up your cat and hold him like a baby? Someone did that recently and Oliver struggled, the idiot dropped him and he hit his head on the end table! Then some other idiot said "Cats never get hurt - you can drop them from 20 stories!" I ran after Oliver and babied him, of course. He was fine, but he could have got hurt! I'd like to drop those idiots from 20 stories.
Fortunately these guys were just there for a few minutes (from my BF's work).

When my boyfriend cooks and just leaves all the dishes and pans in the sink piled up, without soaking. Ewww... it's so nasty to have to clean them later, with everything all congealed and stuck together.

Granted maybe I shouldn't be complaining since he does cook sometimes!

Dinah has always liked this. She lets both me and my oldest son hold her like this.. and sometmes..she'll let my youngest son hold her like that. Maybe it's just my cat, but she has always loved ANY kind of closeness. The closer she can snuggle into you, the better.
