Is there any way to lessen this condition? Whenever I bring my gang to the vet, it's raining cat hair in the car, in the vet and then a bit after getting home. Everything is covered in hair!

Shedding when stressed

I don't know if there's anyway to lessen it unless you give your kitty a sedative.(which I'm not recommending!) But my cat Blackie used to be that way at the vet, the examination table would be covered in fur. I'd wind up being covered in fur as well!
Oh yes, Milly is just the same at the vet. Hair all over the place, and little sweaty pawmarks on the table. She's better if she can tuck her head under my coat, but I wouldn't bother with a sedative, as the visit is usually over very quickly. However, do let us know if you find an answer!
