Should I have gotten out of the way?

Ok, so I pulled up to the driveup bank station at my bank and I took out the container put my checks in and was filling out my deposit slip and a guy behind me started "WOO HOO--lady get out of the way!!", and he kept saying it over and over again. I just ignored him and finished writing my deposit slip and put the container in the slot. Meanwhile, the guy revved his engine a couple of times and then reversed and went inside where he stood in line and stared at me with the dirtiest look. Too bad he didn't have the patience to wait because I was long gone way before he got his turn to go up since there was probably 2 other people in front of him. Even though I got there atleast a minute before him, should I have gotten out of the way? IMHO, I was there first and he needs to learn some patience
Don't you just love people like that!

I'm annoyed when people fill stuff out at the window.. but half the time i do it too. don't worry about it, he was prob just having a bad day or on his break or something..

Oh, I'm not worried about it. I just can't stand people that are that obnoxiously impatient!

people need to learn how to calm down! my god! I dont have the guts to do this, but I have a friend, if ever something like that happens to her, like at a drive through or even when she is turning and someone behind her is honking even when she cant turn yet she will yell back at them "OK I'M WAITING LONGER NOW.... *insert swear here*" It's funny but I dont think I could ever do it.. people just need to learn to relax!!

People here are just learning how to use ATM machines, and many don't yet have bank accounts - too many banks went bankrupt during or after the war, so people don't trust them. We now have 8 ATMs in Sarajevo - whoopee!

How the heck long does it take to fill out a deposit slip? Where was the fire he was going to?? It probably wouldn't have mattered how quick you were -- your offense was being in front of him at all!
Some people just don't know how to wait their turn.

I totally agree !

You did the right thing by ignoring him. The only thing rude people learn when others acquiese to their tantrums is that rudeness works.

He shouldn't have said anything to you, but the driveup window is to speed things up and I believe you should be ready when you get there, not fill out your slips when you get there.

I have to agree.
I have been behind people that fill out everything and put it away and whatever else they are doing up there for so long.

Sometimes you only have a very short period of time and need to get some quick cash, (no ATM card), or deposit. With one car in the lane in front of you, one might think this could be quick, I still have time to get back to work or go pick up the kids from soccer. Then frustration sets in when you see no activity going on.
If I am going through a drive-thru I stop at the far back of the lanes and fill out what needs to be done, then pull forward to the teller window.
I am not trying to be accusatory, but I think people need to be prepared so you don't waste someone elses possibly valuable time.
Don't be mad at me, its just my personal opinion.
