Strange Question/Request....!!

Right, I am doing a sculpture of a Bull Terrier and the thing is, I need to buy some glass eyes for it. I have already found a Taxidermist from whom I can buy eyes. The thing is, I don't know what kind of eyes a Bull Terrier has??

The guy only does Taxidermy for game etc, so he doesn't know the type of eye I should go for either.

So, my strange question is....does anyone know what kind of eye a Bull Terrier has? Is the pupil circular or oval and which way does it go?

I have done numerous searches, but all the ones I seem to find have tiny eyes that look dark, so I am unable to see the detail

I will be VERY grateful for any help you can give me!! (or pictures or leads as how to find out!!)

I have no clue, but what an interesting question! Eyes would make all the difference, especially since that is where most people look first. Have you did a Google image search? Or looked on the AKC website?

Should be well sunken and as dark as possible, with a piercing glint and they should be small, triangular and obliquely placed; set near together and high up on the dog's head. Blue eyes are a disqualification.

I had tried a google image search but it ended up with more items for dogs or toys of them than anything else!! I hadn't heard of AKC until you mentioned it!

Of course! Although, I will warn you that it is not a photographic style sculpture! I am more of a contemporary artist and it is a sculpture of a dog that was in one of my dreams!!

I just have to make sure that the head and eyes are right as they are the only 'normal' part of the dog!!

I am putting my eye order in today - so hopefully they will be here soon!!
