Oky Doky everyone!. Lets take a bus tour to a few of the castles that are about 30-45 minutes from where i live!.



Raby Castle




Bamburgh Castle



Alnwick Castle, and for all you Harry Potter fans this is where Hogworts was fimed!

I do and i know them castles like i know my own home because i've been so many times

Wow! Impressive! So, are the castles open to tourists or are they private residences?

The Dukes and Lords still live in them with their families, but they live in a wing which is not open to the general public so the rest of the castles can be viewed.

Their normally open to the public from March to October and what money is collected by the admission goes towards the general up keep of the castles which you can imagine is quite a bit!, plus i'd hate their heating bills

You will often see a member of the family while your there as well!.

gosh imagine living somewhere with those castles all around you... thats just impressive!!!

And the triangles must be the "fried bread" Jenny mentioned earlier. I never tasted one of those. Unless "fried" is another word for "toasted".

Yuk it is fried bread Yayi! and i can't stand the stuff because it's too greasy
