Has anyone ever tried these?
I have a few pastel-ish colored shirts that just look old and icky but aren't
, so I was thinking about those bleaches that are for colors, I think Clorox makes one...

If you have tried one, do they work? I don't want to wreck my clothes!
If not do you have any suggestions to make them look nice again?

I use Clorox 2 often on our clothes. Never had a problem with it. We wash everything in cold water at our house - not sure if that would make a difference or not.

i had a problem with my jeans discolouring so my mother bought blue dye and put it in a bucket with water or something and let the jeans soak for a while
then she chucked it in the washing machine. it looked good as new untill after a few washes and you had to repeat the process again.
eventually i just stopped wearing jeans because i didnt like it anymore
and all the jeans appart from flairs make me look odd!
especially the day this lady told me
"you look horrible in those jeans, they make your butt look too fat! go back to wear your black pants" i was really upset but i noticed that i dont look like except for flairs!!
ahhh the wonders of flairs.....
okay im off the subject but i hope the others can help you

I also use Clorox 2 and it works very well on keeping clothes bright. Also, there is a new Woolite for dark colors. I don't know about using it on pastels, but I have heard it works well on keeping black clothes black and not fading them.

I used Tide w/bleach for a long time and had good results. A lot of people can't tolerate Tide as a detergent, however. They get irritated skin.

I use Clorox for colors on my towels and I wash them in HOT water. They haven't faded. In fact, they've never looked better! I also use it for my bedding.
Of couse I'm a germaphobe, that's the main reason I use it. Weird huh? But it doesn't fade your clothes and to me, it makes them cleaner.

That's why I use it on my towels and my bedding. the cats too. I forgot to put that in there. Glad I'm not the only one.

Many of the oxygen bleaches are safe on colors. I don't like Tide with bleach because it mutes colors and whites get dingy (it's DH's favorite though so I live with it). I recommend chlorine bleach on white and pale colors that don't fade and an oxygen bleach on anything else.
