Vancouver here I come!

Great news guys! Last year my department picked me and 6 other students to send to the AWP in Chicago. A real honor to be picked to go and everything was paid for. The conference was amazing and the trip was great! Well this year, Me, as well as two other girls who went last year and another girl, are going to go to Vancouver for the AWP! I'm so excited! Not only was I chosen once, but twice!!!

For those of you who don't know, the AWP is a conference for writers, publishers and presses. It's four days of WONDERFUL speakers and workshops on everything from Medias Role on Writing, to Women's poetry to Sentimentality and the Grotesque.

I am sooo excited!

YAY amber!! You'll love Vancouver.. we went for our honeymoon, and loooooved it. Go to the Mall in Burnaby, it's sooo big! lol

We are going MArch 31st through April 3. We had a blast in Chicago, so this is going to be great!

Hmmm...Could be wet -- or not! We'll likely have a bunch of stuff in bloom for you, if that's of interest. The Mall Denise referred to sounds like Metropolis/Metrotown. If you're into shopping, you could certainly do worse! And it's readily accessible by Skytrain.
