Hi,
I'm new here and also a new cat owner. My kitty Jinx is ~8 months old and gorgeous! She showed up on my doorstep about a month ago meowing from the cold. So I took her in and no one ever came to claim her. I took her to the vet and apparently I'm a MUCH better mom to her than she had before so I'm glad she found me, because now she's spoiled rotten!

Awww...very cute. She doesn't seem to like the harness too much..LOL. BTW...I hope part of the trip to the vet included treating her to a spay.

Welcome, Jo & Jinx! I'm happy that you found each other and also this site! All the wonderful responses to such a variety of problems really restores one's faith in humanity.

TNR: Well I dont have a harness for her yet, that's just a leash I put on her to let her on the porch because even though I'm 3 stories up, she's still small enough to get through the wooden porch slats. I plan on getting her a harness soon though so she can have a little more freedom.

And as far as getting her spayed, well the vet couldnt tell if she was spayed or not so we were waiting to see if she went into heat. Well she went into heat last week so now I'm waiting for her to finish so I can take her in. No worries! She'll be fixed as soon as possible!!
