Actually, I got suckered into it last night, and am just again amazed that these people appear to be so dumb. If they watched the last show, they should have gone to the library and checked out books on survival and learned how to make fire! I heard that the cameraman had to keep his camera lights on all night so the lions would stay away from this group! That one girl Kim? Did you see her walking around in sandals? Sandals in Africa where there are scorpions, stinging spiders, army ants- not a smart move! Mike still swears it is rigged- so we will see. So far I am rooting for the goat farmer!

I'm partial to the cutie with the shoulder length dark curly hair..whats his name?? Its hard to remember in the beginning. So far the people don't seem as personable as the last group in Australia. Maybe its just because I don't know much about their personalities yet...What'd you think of that guy..Samuel was it?? who ate the beans while the group was at the water hole. Treacherous I say...boot him! Heheh I love Survivor

I love Survivor too! Actually, it's the only network show that my husband and I watch. Since it's on at 7 here, we tape it so we can watch it after the kids go to bed. Don't want to be interrupted during important Survivor scenes! I do wonder about the people that get on the show though. I heard that one of the girls got on the show because she taped her audition tape topless.

Let me just say, I sure would want to be on the first Survivor show rather than the later ones. Hmmm, deserted tropical island or Africa with lions, hyenas, scorpions, ants, spiders, etc, etc, etc. Not a hard choice.

I definitly think this is the hardest survivor yet. On the last 2 shows they had water to bathe in, and lay around it. Just think, they can't even wash off!


Last night I kept thinking 'what kind of sadist signs up for this?!?!' It looks so miserable! But I to watch it.

I am so glad Diane got the boot. Serves her right. I think she lied about the guy suggesting they open a can of beans. Did you see her smug little smile after she said it wasn't her idea? Besides I couldn't stand watching any more episodes looking at that mess on her head.

I wouldn't want to be in Africa. I would be more scared of the diseases I could get there than the wildlife. Malaria, African Sleeping Sickness, several hemorrhagiac fevers (like Ebola).

Think anyone will get mauled by a lion or anything good this season?

Air....I think I am just as excited about you now that the new Survivor is on. It only started yesterday - clarence got away with with eating the food I was sure that he was off...then when I really thought about it before tribal council i voted Diane, she was a weak member of the team. I guess you lot are ahead of me so I will probably not read this thread again - incase I learn more before I see it on the T.V

I am with you, Illusion, on being glad that Diane got the boot....I am sure she lied about asking him to open the can of beans, and I think that was pretty crappy of her. I know it was wrong of him to eat some of it himself, and I can understand the group being angry about that, since they have so little food at this point, and need to ration it, so it was unfair of him to eat it himself, but I think he was truley sorry he did it, and I think if any of us were in the same situation we might have done the same....I mean, he is alone with her, to try to take care of her while they are gone, and she asks him to please open a can of food for her, so thinking she needs it for her strength, he opens a can. She eats some...well....there's this open can of food right there in front of him, so whose to say many of us wouldn't have thought about taking a few bites as well? I think I would have thought about it!

I felt a bit sorry for him when he said, I told you you were like my mother, but I was wrong, you are nothing like my mother (because she lied) I was glad to see her go.
As of now, I like him, but it is way to early in the game to decide for sure, I need to see more of his personality, I may change my mind.
The one I really can't stand is Lyndsey. But I think that my opinion of her is biased, just because I saw her audition tape, where she was riding her bike with no top on, and I thought that was pretty slutty.
Do they other members of his team know that Brandon is gay yet? Notthat I have anything against gay people, heck, I loved Bunky on BB, but I just thought it would be interesting to see how his team mates react to this.
I really like that woman, can't think of her name, but I think it is Jessie, who is the deputy sheriff, she seems really nice, and there are a couple others I like as well, but can't remember names yet!

I was so excited to watch the new Survivor! It happens to me one of my favorite shows! I was so glad to see Diane go, too! What a &!@$%!! I am glad they decided not to vote Clarence off..... they will need him for the physical challenges! Although, it was wrong of him to eat some of the beans, he still deserves to be on the show! I think anyone would have been tempted. Plus, everyone makes mistakes. That water though, is disgusting

Debby - Is Brandon the guy from Dallas Texas? If he is, he's flaming. Not that it matters, but he's a bartender in the gay district in downtown Dallas. Just thought he was an interesting opposite of Colby, who was also from Texas (and pretty darned handsome if you ask me!).

If all the contestants got eaten by a lion/leopard...do they re-name the show..No Survivors? Does the lion/leopard get the prize money and all the ads/playboy contracts?? If he eats the cameraman and/or director does the show carry on?? Have the contestants seen "The Ghost and the Darkness"?

Dawn, Colby WAS very sexy, I thought so too!:tounge2: I don't rememebr where this Brandon guy is from, but in the TV guide, where they had a profile of all the people on this survivor, under his picture, in his status, it said, single; gay.

I'm pretty sure they know he's gay.

I heard that tonight they (CBS) are re-showing the premeire episode instead of Wolf Lake at 10.

TLK....(good to see you again, by the way... ) I know what you mean, Sue may have been brash and rude, but at least she had some sort of personality!!!!
And you are right, Friends is getting really predictable, I am getting so bored with it. And it used to be one of my favorite shows. At least I still have Will & Grace to entertain me! Last weeks episode was a hoot!!!!!!! But I am getting way off the subject here, sorry...Survivor 3....can't wait to see tomorrow nights episode, I guess they all have to drink a glass of pure animal blood to stay in the game!! YUUUUUCKKKK.

There is a girl on Survivor Africa from Mr. Cat's, cleo's and my hometown!! Portland Oregon. Yeehaw. Her name is Lyndsey.

The irritating part for me... the idiots who keep saying that I didn't think it would be that hard. HUH??? Did you not watch the previous two shows?

I can't wait for tonight!! What's the deal with Friends beating Survivor in the ratings. I know too many people who watch this show.

It is so great to read posts from other Survivor fans. Several people at work give me a hard time about watching Survivor. I love it. The only thing that I will miss Survivor for is death and then I require proof. One of the reasons I like to watch is to look at Jeff, the host, I think he's really cute . I also watch Rock n' Roll Jeopardy, which he hosts.
