Whaaa....???? My little heartthrob Thomas would never, ever do anything so ill-mannered!

My cat, Abbie, has always been a barfer...nearly everyday regardless of the food I've given her. When I come home, I do a "sweep" to see where the daily clean-up is needed.

The worst was when I woke up in the middle of the night, felt something warm and wet, and realized she was throwing up on my stomach! Ew, ew, EWWWW!

My Mischa is the barfer in the family - usually on the landing carpet in the middle of the night. Right on the pathway to the bathroom.....cold cat sick between toes - not nice!!!!!

My little Dirt has a nasty habit of peeing in places he shouldnt and one day my partner had taken his shoes off and gone upstairs. when he came down about 1 hour later and put a shoe on he remarked that it felt damp. I said nothing but just KNEW that Dirt had peed in his shoes. There was a little puddle on the floor round his shoes. Dirt, for some reason, doesnt care much for my partner and he definately showed it that day. Needless to say the shoes dont remain on the floor anymore when he takes them off.
(Dirt also licks his shirts and covers them in spit when no one is looking! I think he knows that my partner is a 'dog' man)

Paige has a VERY sensitive stomach (And I'm up the creek about the cat food because when I asked Jason if they were due for some new because I had to change it gradually, he said no.. and of course, I looked in the bin to-day and it's almost bare now that I've filled the feeder
Oh well, he's freezing his buns off in Sweden, neener.) and is perpetually being sick (or having a hairball, either way, it's catsick.) from slight changes in diet. but only with DRY FOOD. Wet food she could eat every kind til sunday and be fine.. *sigh*. But she gets sick at night after she has her dinner time meal, when we're in bed.. and I wake up about 3 AM to *hwork*and three guilty looking cats, lol.
She used to try to buke in the kitchen, but now it's always in the bedroom.. poor thing :/.

But yes, waking up and stepping in catsick is awful! We went away from our honeymoon, and found catsick on a windowsill .. all baked on yuck. Mom didn't see it for whatever reason...-.-

i cant stop laughing!!!
your stories are great!!
on sunday night we came home and both food bowls were empty! to me that seemed weird and as i got into bed i heard him puking. I jumped right up and all i could smell from his vomit was off chocolate!! then he went to have a drink and 2 mins later he chucked up water! on the carpet! my bf thought oh no, but he refuses to clean up because its "my cat"
I couldnt believe how much food he had digested into his small body and out again!
he is okay now though

Living in the land of not enough time
Shalimar (RB) used to aim for my shoes when she brought up her hairballs.

Frantic will look for an open newspaper.

Pipsqueek will give me plenty of warning, but if I go over and put a newpaper under him, he'll swing around away from the paper so he doesn't mess the paper.

Oh well, since we're sharing vomit stories: Angel always seems to want to puke when he's at the highest point of his scratching post causing it to fall like a landslide onto, into, whatever, till it reaches the floor.

So I see the puke on the floor and bend down to clean it, while holding onto vomit on the scratching post (that my hand has now smeared). Then Angel will jump on my back to see what I'm doin (as if he don't know
) and starts scratching at my back to cover up the smell from his throw-up.

So not only do I have smeared vomit in between my fingers, I also have scratch marks on my back like "The Passion of the Christ" actor. Kinda like a layered-vomit-domino effect, if you will!

I am cracking up these stories!

Oh and I have another one.
This involves the same dog, the Sheltie, that Jamie threw up on when she was little. (I had him for 14 years) One day, several years ago, I had brought home a cat that I had found........this was before the crew I have now. Well the dog was the very jealous type and didn't like the fact that there was a new furbaby in the house to share the attention with. So one day, when I came home from work, the dog got real excited like he always did and began jumping up and down.......and suddenly he threw up all over the floor. But this wasn't an ordinary pile of vomit.......this pile was as big a round as a dinner plate and at least 3 inches thick!!!! I was stunned and said, "What the heck?" As I was cleaning it up....I noticed that it looked like a bunch of cat food......so I went and checked the cat food bag that I had just bought the day before when I brought the cat home.

The dog had torn the bag open and eaten the entire 5 pound bag of cat food........every morsel!!!

I guess he figured if the cat didn't have any food....I'd have to get rid of it!
