I just got up a few minutes ago, made my coffee, fed the kitties, and sat down here to check the posts.........and Thomas just threw up in my purse!!!

I had left it sitting on the floor from where I went to the grocery store yesterday and it was open. He just threw up right in it! OMG....what a mess!

What a way to start the day.

Oh no! You should include that in the 'you know it's going to be a bad day when...' thread!

I hope you get it cleared up and Thomas is giving you lots of headbutts and snuggles to appologise!

Had to laugh though, it sounds like something that would happen to me!!

Oh he's fine now. And Cooper has been frantically trying to "cover" up the mess even though I cleaned it all up and even used a wet washcloth to get it all off the carpet. Cooper even dragged a magazine over and put it over the spot where Thomas threw up.

Oh, poor little Thomas..........reminds me of a time about 15 years ago. Dad and I took Grandma out for dinner and the waitress was caring a comlimentary relish tray to our table. Well, she gets within 2 feet of the table, trips over something, and the olives, pickles, etc slid right off the plate and landed right in my purse that was sitting on the floor!
That poor girl was in tears while I kept trying to tell her it was ok, I wasn't mad, etc. I thought it was hilarious!

Give Thomas a hug from me and Cooper a treat for trying to help Robin!

Poor Thomas. I'm sure he feels terrible! My Simon is the barf-meister in my house. The worst was when he threw up on my jeans that were sitting on the floor. Ick.

That was bad enough, but at least it was only a small cat that barfed in your purse.
Whe we went to meet my s/o's new sister in law, we all celebrated the visit and the wedding with a few too many shots. His brother is a musician, so when the band quit for the night, we continued the party in a room at the hotel where they played. The bass player gave my s/o a shot of Rumplemintz, the the drummer insisted he have a double shot of Cuervo. They hit his stomach and bounced back up, which then became a liquor missile, right in to his new SIL's purse. Not knowing what else to say, he looked up and said "uh, welcome to the family."
Fortunately she was a VERY good sport, laughed, and handed him the purse to clean.

Well you know he was doing this before....back a few weeks ago...but then he stopped and has been fine. Then yesterday, he threw up once and then again this morning. It could be that he's just going to have a sensitive stomach like Leo. Leo has always been prone to throwing up if he eats too much.

I just can't believe he threw up in my purse! I heard his gagging and looked over at him and he was like hanging his head over my purse as if it was the commode. I jumped up and it all happened in slow motion....ya know how it always does......and I tried to grab him up and he puked right in the purse before I could toss him in the bathroom.

If you think that's bad, picture this. Twenty years ago, our dog, a 126 lb. Saint Bernhard/German Shepherd mix, used to come to work with me. One day I'm driving to work, and had to brake suddenly because of a collision right ahead of me. The dog, in the back seat, got upset, leaned over, and puked on my head, shoulder, and into my open handbag. What a mess. Needless to say, I had to throw out the handbag, and my leather jacket was also a lost cause.

Oh my gosh! How awful! I've got another "Ooohh gross" story too. Your story just made me remember it.

Back when my oldest daughter was about 5-6 years old, she had a terrible stomach virus and had been throwing up all day. I kept her home from school and had asked my mother if she could stop at the grocery and pick me up a few things since I obviously couldn't take my daughter to the store.

So my mother got there and we were standing in the living room talking while Jamie was laying on the couch. All of a sudden, she just puked over the side of the couch. Well, my Sheltie happened to be lying right next to the couch and got covered in vomit! And you know what dogs do when they suddenly get wet.........they SHAKE!! My dog jumped up and began shaking vomit off of him......it was going on the walls and the furniture....everything!

My mother was saying, "Robin....do something!" But all I could do was stand there and laugh hysterically at the site!
For the longest time after that, my daughter would tell everyone how she threw up on the dog.
