Although not the 114 that was expected (sometimes ferals just aren't cooperative)...it was still 22 more cats than last year. Like last month there were more females than males and only 1 turned out to be pregnant.
Next month's clinic is on the 2nd weekend because there is the big DC cats event on the 3rd weekend (where they plan to fix 480 cats).

If anyone lives in Virginia and wants to know more about the clinic and TNR..just send me a PM.

I don't live anywhere near, but would so very much love to get involved with something like that out here. How wonderful you are for doing this, and how excellent for the cat population.

I am so very pleased!!

That is awesome news....although it wasn't as many as expected it is still great!!

Where in VA will this be held?I am assuming in Northern Va?
I live very close to VA,but am on the southern end.
I would LOVE to come and help out,but it is probably too far.

vettechstudent..it's in Centreville which is Northern VA. You should check to see if they have a similiar clinic closer to you...I know Richmond has clinics.

Going by MSN maps both are like 7-8 hours away.

I am close to the south west tip of VA.

The only clinic I know of anywhere close to where I live in still over 2 hours away(which I guess wouldn't be too bad),but I think they recently lost their grant money to do the s/n.
Maybe one of these days I will be a little closer to where they hold some feral s/n clinics.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Katie - you are amazing. Those clinics have got to be such hard work. (And I mean both emotionally and physically). My heart and thoughts go out to you. Keep up the AMAZING work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
