I am in Las Vegas to work at a convention. While that may seem wonderfull to some - paid trip to Las Vegas. I don't drink, smoke or gamble.
I'll be here until Wednesday.

I made sure I brought my laptop though!
I miss my husband, my cats and my birds (there are birds in the lobby of the hotel though!) Having this board to log into is great,l makes things seem more normal. Thanks!

Who knows, maybe tomorrow I will play video poker! I like that on Pogo.

Hi Tracey!

They keep touting Las Vegas as a family destination, or at least that was the ad campaign before "What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas", so I'm sure there's more to do than drink, smoke and gamble.
There's always the NASCAR Cafe that you can check out!

Hey Talon!
My husband and I got married in vegas about 4 months ago! We're not drinking, smoking, gambling types either but we really enjoyed our stay! The nascar cafe is at the hotel we stayed at, The Sahara. Check out wet n wild, Grand canyon and The Malls!!

AH.. how I wish I was in your shoes! My honey lives in Las Vegas, and I would LOVE to be there with him. Over New Years, I was there and had a wonderful time. They have a Coca-Cola store (my fave, as I collect anything that has to do with pop), and an M&M store too.. located right on the strip. Of course, there are tons of shows to see all over the place. There is also a restaurant right on the strip called the Peppermill. It's pretty neat inside.

Talon, well it's not that late at all your time, just 9 pm-- the night is young!!
This sounds like a great business trip....is anybody even awake during business hours there??
Play video poker. I love video poker. I am crazy over video poker.
I won $700 when I played last, in the lobby of the Bellagio!

We got married there 5 yrs. ago at the Excalibur Hotel Chapel.
I do not like to gamble, I would rather shop!!
You can do so much there and not have to spend a dime though.
Go into the Bellagio Hotel to look around. You will not believe how beautiful it is. Also Ceasars, and the Venetian were among the most extravagant and beautiful places I have ever seen. More than you can imagine in your wildest dreams. There are a lot of nice shops in the Stratosphere.
This is another one of those cities that never sleep.
You can find something to do at any time 24/7.
Have FUN!!

My mother was married there at The Little White Wedding Chapel in March of last year. We had a blast when we went there. I remember you writing a couple of weeks ago about this trip.

Tell us what you decide to do--and make sure to have fun!!

Today was setup for our gallerie (we sell some of our products, and tshirts, chemical aprons etc) Was on my feet abit and my back hurts and my feet swelled up and hurt to walk. SO I came back to my room, rubbed some foot stuff I brought just for this, and I tried my first therma-care back pad - AHHhhhh... I love them already!.

On the adventerous side, I played $2 a "Wheel of Fortune", but nada - never did understand/like slot machines. After breakfast, I found some 25 cent video poker game - put $10 - cashed out at $30. Yahoo!!!!! I was up to 42, but I told myself I'd play until I got to $30.. I did, so I am happy!

Tomorrow night is the grand opening - not sure what it is, some presentation or some concert by Maroon somthing-or-another.

There is a blues club in this hotel, might do that - just to say I have.
