I've recently noticed that one of my two cats has some strange material dropping from his fur. Whenever he gets up from a spot where he has been sleeping or sitting for some time, I find tiny (but very visible with the naked eye), hard, flat, tear drop shaped, off-white...something. Almost look like eggs, except that they're flat and hard. I've looked a bit through his fur and haven't seen anything. His coat is extremely healthy, shiny, and full. He hasn't been itching or scratching any more than what I consider normal. But I'm worried. Anyone have any idea what this might be??

Thanks.

tapeworms, please take your cat to the vet, get the proper medication droncit and flea-treat your cat safely with advantage, frontline or revolution

Sounds like tapeworms to me. Do they look like sesame seeds, slightly yellowish? You might want to treat it with Droncit or Praziquantel. Ask you vet about this. Hope this helps!
