I am weighing him this evening. I don't think that he's lost much--I haven't been able to play with him at all. Things around here are so hectic right now, I feel like I am going to have a nervous breakdown some days....that's another story. I'll write again this evening.

ddi you ever re weigh mister Mitty? How's he doing? by the way- don't feel dejected with the slight gain.. it's hard to contrrol if you're busy and if you're not the one feeding them, you're not responsible for what they eat. *hugs*

Thanks guys...I did weigh him again this morning before feeding him and he is at 23 pounds still. I won't give up, don't worry!
I am the one that feeds him usually, Zack doesn't want to mess up on how much he gets, so he won't feed him. Thanks for the support!

had not your sister been feeding him last weekend I thought she had? It's tough sometimes, I know
but we're proud of that first pound!

It's actually, my sister-in-law, Zack's sister. She feed him only for one weekend and that was around Valentine's weekend. She is feeding them again this coming weekend while we are on vacation. She has exact instructions on what to feed them. Hopefully, it'll work out.

Remember do it before his breakfast!.

Did you read Sophie has to lose weight
I took her for her 6 month post spay checkup and they weighed her to find she was 10lb!!!
It was the day before her 1st birthday but the vet said i should start watching what i give her now before she gets older.

She only has to lose 2lb but i've started measuring their kibbles because they were having a lot really

Ugh--I forgot to do it before Breakfast!! I have a habit of getting right out of bed and feeding him so he doesn't wake Zack up!

No, I didn't read that Sophie has to lose weight!!
She can do it though--I believe in her!
I am rooting for you, Susan!! Please post about her progress and I will definitely be here for you as you are here for me!!

I will. I'll weigh her in a month, then in June both of them go for their yearly checkups so hopefully by then they should both be ok

It just shows that Rosie obviously weighs a couple of lb more than Sophie because Rosie weighed in at 10lb at the vets last year and i know that she's heavier than Sophie at the moment

Still holding the same weight...

I am going to weigh him in 2 weeks and if no change, I'll be cutting back on his food (the vet suggested it after he stopped losing for a few weeks).

Aww Poor guy.. is he all over the place still, Candie? He's like "I'm just retaining water, mum! I swear it!"

^.^ I hope other things are better with you, hon, but I'm glad to seethat you're still out there (somewhere!)

I am here--just had a big plate over flowing with mashed potatoes for the last 3 months!
I have to keep some sense of humor in all this--plus a lot of praying! I really wouldn't know what to do without the support of you and the rest of TCS! Even though ya'll are all miles and miles away--it makes no difference to me--I feel like we are all so close!
Mittens might just be retaining water--
He is still climbing all over the place--I tried to play with him last night but it was sooo hot--almost 90 degrees...they like to sleep when it is that hot! He has gotten a lot more sweeter though--trust me--that is possible!! Zack lets him sleep with us now until he runs off and then we shut the door for the night!
He cuddles up between my side and arm and put his white paws and chin on my arm and purrs us to sleep! Something I certainly need in the last couple of weeks
