I love the Waltons, I feel it impacted my childhood so much. We always watched that. I wonder if you can get DVD's of it now? I would like to see some of them again.

I didn't watch Little House as religiously but enjoy it.

Don't be silly Susie, of course you're not alone! I used to watch both shows every week they were on!

This is OT, but I just wanted to share...
I read almost every single one of Laura Ingalls Wilder's books when I was growing up and just loved them too. BTW, the log cabin she wrote about in Little House in the Woods was only about 40 miles from where I live now. I think the actual cabin she lived in might stiill be there too....either that or it's a replica. Whatever it is, the cabin is protected by a shelter that was built over it, and there's a historical marker.

Thanks for bringing this up! I just put year 1 of the Waltons on my netflix.
I just hope it doesn't make me cry too much cause it totally reminds me of my Mom and I lost her 10 years ago. She and I really liked that show and would watch together.

I enjoy them too. I haven't seen the Waltons for years, but Little House reruns are on here every day around noon and if I am home, I watch them. It was a great series!
