I think there is a bit of time lapse, but you can see some of the same cars in the distance, so I think it is genuine. Of course, these days it is always hard to be sure.

My friend told me it's photoshopped. She said the first picture really did happen. She saw this on snopes.com. But it is funny.

I went to snopes and found the link. The car and the first crane fell into the water. The second crane did not.
