Thanks kev - actually it looks like most of my staff (I am a supervisor) called in sick today.
Oh well, there are still alot of people I will go and say goodbye to. I am looking forward to a little time at home before the baby comes. Then again, knowing my luck I will go into labour tonight!
I have a few last things to clear up and then I plan on doing nothing all day! I will still be on line at home, but a little less then now. I will keep everyone posted as to what is happening!

I'm a little confused about this part. Your employer gives you a full year off for maternity leave???????

In Canada, the government pays you up to 55% (max of $413/wk) of your normal earning for a period of up to 1 year if you qualify for maternity/parental benefits. Then my own employer (I work for the feds) will top my earnings up to 93% of my normal earnings. So I will be off for 1 year and still earning close to my regular salary.

Wishing you a couple of weeks to enjoy being off work and resting up, and wishing you all the best once your new arrival has arrived

I wish you everything and more- then again, we speak by email most days - so I guess you know that already..... Into the final afternoon now - clocks ticking and the day is going from good to even better. If you have to take the 401 home, nice and steady for me - want you home safe and well.....

Thanks kev!

The day is never ending. Maybe I can convince John to come take me home early or I will have to wait till the end of the day and my carpool!
