I know it's early for this but Finnegan has to get neutered on Tuesday(the 18th) and as some of you know I lost my last baby, Killian, in October when he got neutered by the Humane Society's vet
Sooooo needless to say I'm taking Finnegan to MY vet who I trust BUT I'm still worried sick about it!!
He's my baby and I don't think shadow, his daddy or I can take losing another one! Please send vibes and I will definatly keep you updated on how it goes!
Thank you in advance!!

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Well, of course your concerned about your baby having this procedure, Stacy, especially after all you went through losing Killian.
You are doing exactly the best thing for Finnegan, and I just know he will sail right through this!

Stacy -- You must have had a very frightening time with Killian. I'm sure Finnegan will be fine and I'm sending lots of prayers and good wishes to help him.

I just went through this fear when Elfie got spayed last week. She did just fine and I am sure your sweet boy will too. But I know how nervous you are. Elfie spent the afternoon after her spay sitting on the vet's desk. I called just half an hour after they started and she was already awake and looking around. I hope all is just as good for you. I warned them I would give them five minutes after twelve for them to call me, but I actually waited 30 minutes. Great restraint on my part I would say. Becky

lol yea i may go to the mall with my friend if she doesnt have to work to try and take my mind off of worrying. Then when he comes home he'll be hanging out with me and JC in our room away from shadow. they like to play rough and um.. bite each other where it counts.. ever seen that before??? :-\\

When I have had boys done, they don't even seem to notice. One boy did wash a lot there, but other than that, they just play and eat and act normal. My vet sends home instructions to only feed half their dinner after an anesthesia. That worked OK with Elfie last week, but when I had Asa done last year, he wasn't having it. He wanted his supper. He did prevail, but I only gave him half at a time. Becky

Well I never worried until now. We've had cats all my life and never had a problem or even heard about cats dying from it until Killian. Shadow was fine and was jumping around and playing right after we brought him home. Its just such a hard thing to have to do after what happened with Killian but I know that its best for him.

Well, just called the vet a few minutes ago to check on Fin and the girl said he's just waking up and starting to move around. We have to call back around 2:30 to see when we can pick him up. Keep you posted!
