My Joke For the Day: Polish Sausage

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THIS IS NOT INTENDED WHO IS OFFENDED EASILY

A man goes into a store and tells the clerk, "I'd like some Polish sausage." The clerk looks at him and says, "Are you Polish?" The guy, clearly offended, says, "Well, yes I am. But let me ask you something.

If I had asked for Italian sausage would you ask me if I was Italian? Or if I had asked for German bratwurst, would you ask me if I was German? Or if I asked for a kosher hot dog would you ask me if I was Jewish? Or if I had asked for a taco would you ask if I was Mexican? Would ya, huh? Would ya?"

The clerk says, "Well, no."

"And if I asked for some Irish whiskey, would you ask if I was Irish?" "Well, I probably wouldn't."

With deep self-righteous indignation, the guy says, "Well, all right then, why did you ask me if I'm Polish just because I ask for Polish sausage?"

The clerk replies, "Because you're at Home Depot."

LOL... I think I get it!

I haven't heard a good polish joke since I moved away from Chicago years ago. Yes, I'm part polish and husband is a purebred pollack.

Ya know, a good polish sausage is hard to find!! LOL

LOL! Robert is the stereotype of these jokes. He's absolutely brilliant, but he is also CLUELESS and clumsy and has NO common sense.

I have some Polish from my dad's side, but I'm not offended. I thought that joke was hilarious!

Yes. It's a hardware store. They sell everything for home renovation, but for some reason they won't sell me any sausage either. Hmmm... that actually reminds me of my all time favorite joke.

But ya know, Home Depot does sell grills and smokers, so you could really *strrrreeeeettttcccchhhhhhh* it and see some logic there! LOL

Actually, Kansas City is the king of barbeque and I have actually seen them grilling sausages and hamburgers at the Home Depot's around town. If there's a grill available here, someone is using it!

That's what I thought too when I was arguing with the Home Depot clerk, but then he said, "Okay buddy... who put the "ill" in grill..."

LOL! Well I liked the Polish joke so much that it reminded me of my all time favorite. I didn't want to hijack the thread, so I made a separate thread for it. I couldn't sleep last night and ended up making more dumb comments in threads than I usually do, including your Polish Sausage thread.

I love when people hijack threads that have jokes with more of their own. Please feel free to add on any you think of, I love to laugh.

For a minute there, this thread was getting a little confusing cause I forgot some people do not have a Home Depot where they live, and I was reading the replies laughing so loud, then I came across yours, and thought, my Polishness is coming out, cause I didn't know what was happening anymore.
