If you HAD to do one of the following, which would it be?
Clean your house or go to work?

Hmm, yep clean the house!
Think that would work if I called my boss and said I wasn't coming in today because I need to clean my house?

I think we'd all say, clean the house. I actually love housework......I know, I'm a nerd.

In general, I would say clean the house, but right now with the construction issues I have going on - I might have to say go to work. When it is all over, I'm taking a few vacation days to get my house back in order.

Well since I'm currently jobless and I have all the time in the world to clean the house (which I still dont do
) I'd rather go to work... I'm gettin bored of being out of work, not to mention, BROKE!

I'd prefer to clean - I'd be able to sleep later, take a break whenever I wanted, daydream, and have goofy "conversations" with Jamie, instead of with my students. The graduating class has finals starting January 31, and these kids are bouncing off the walls. Talk about panic. Today I spent half an hour going over the difference between adjectives and adverbs - first-year stuff, but many of them are absolutely positive that they'll get it wrong in the exams. "She turned in a very nicely written essay" vs. "I'm in the mood for a nice big glass of ice(d) tea"!!!! That's something we've gone over about a hundred times, they rarely make mistakes, and now they think they're going to flunk because of two little letters. They tell me they're having nightmares starring me! That makes me feel just great. I'd definitely prefer to make everything in the house gleam!
