Does Woolite Dark actually work?

Well, does it? I've got too many grey shirts that were once black.

Has anyone used this product or it's equivilent?

I know, it's kind of an odd question.

I think the only difference between the dark type detergents is that they don't have the phosphorous that Cheer and that ilk use to make your colors bright. *shrugs* I could be wrong though.

i think the dark detergents aren't to make clothes dark, but to keep already dark clothes dark. I have cheer dark at home and I haven't used it long enough to notice a difference, but we'll see.

I've been using the Zero version of this product for a few years now and it does seem to help keep dark clothes dark. It also makes light/bright clothes look dngy and off colour,so make sure you dont accidentally throw anything light in with it!

Right, I knew that. I'm just looking to prevent future darks from turning grey. Thanks for the responses though!
