its not on tv here and for a long while we couldnt even buy it here - we ordered the first 2 seasons from the US - but we havent got the 3rd season yet - not sure when that will become available here.

a friend brought the first series back from the US and we watched it - I dont think chris stopped laughing for days
of course this meant we had to buy it - although not many australians know about it

This is the first time I've been on in a few days. I LOVE Family Guy. My boyfriend and I have both box sets and watch it all the time. At any given moment we are quoting an episode and people are looking at us like we are crazy. We just got a portable DVD player that we can hook up in the car and that's what we've been watching in it. Oh man. That show is horrible, but great. Almost every line is a joke. Sometimes we just sit there and are like, "Where did they come up with this?" Can't wait for the new shows either.

*lol* Family Guy always has me laughing, too. I'm just thrilled to see all these Family Guy Fans! We should join our own club *lol* I have to say I don't like Glen Qagmire, he's quite a pervert.

That was great! I really liked the one where Peter had the near death experience on their anniversary, and helped Death pick up that chick from the pet store. That ending at the coffee shop was SO funny!

No...and I've seen all the episodes. Is there more then three seasons? Perhaps the DVDs don't show all the episodes?

These new episodes should be good. I am curious as to who will get the credit though. Fox initially didn't market it well and it flopped. When Cartoon Network added it to Adult Swim ratings soared, and they really were the ones to market it. I hear there is a big to do about where the new episodes should be aired becuase of this.

That one is on the DVDs. It's the Y2K episode where they go in search of the Twinkie factory, and found New Quahog.
