With all of the unusual weather happening lately, I thought it would be interesting if everyone posted what their weather is like today. I have read the posts about the snow and hurricanes and everything but it's hard to keep up with where everyone is and how their weather is. I think it's unbelievable that Ashley (I just read her thread) is in Canada and it is going to be -45 tonight and down here where I am in Florida it is 80 degrees right now and the sun is shining bright.

Cincinnati here.

Today -- 65 degrees and cloudy. The Ohio River is cresting tonight - it's at flood stage or above, I think? I work down by the river, just checked and it's just about touching those lovely bridges we have here! We aren't breaking any records however. The record high for Jan 12 in Cinci is 71 degrees. Thursday night we get a cold front and will have below-freezing temps for 5 days straight (back to Old Man Winter).

2 weeks ago we got a record-breaking snowfall. 12 inches in 'most' places, 20 inches in some. It's all melted now of course hence all the flooding.

Indian Summer. I'm wearing a skirt with no hose & a light jacket, carrying an umbrella. Friday we'll all be back to ear muffs, hats, gloves & boots!

icy cold blowing winds right now, the trees are bending over by the force of it. I need to drive to town, but right now, I just don't want to go outside. It is way to cold for me

We had a bit of wierd weather this morning. Fog and snow. YUK! It make the roads icy and covered with snow, and the drive into work was simply horrible! But now it's 12:30 and the sun is shining brightly, the main roads are just wet, and everything is just peachy.

Here it's around 8-10 degrees celsius, grey and rainy (which has melted a lot of the snow but made everything incredibly icy - I was at the ER this morning, and while I was there five or six people came in with injuries from having slipped!).

It's -40 where my mom lives, right now, too! I can't imagine!

ditto! I was scared on the drive in to work this morning with all of the ice. I also felt I was going to fall on the way to the car with my centre of gravity being baby centred now! I did the penguin walk.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Perfect thread, Tanya, considering the bizarre weather patterns being experienced by everyone! Today is in the mid to upper 70's, bright and sunny without a cloud in the sky, and tomorrow is suppose to be even warmer, bright and sunny! Perfect January weather, I must say!
I feel rather guilty, though, hearing about the awful weather conditions being endured by so many.

Don't worry, I was doing the 'penguin walk' this morning, too, and I'm not even pregnant!
It really was pretty scary!

San Antonio, TX... Today's high is 80, thanks a lot... but starting Friday the temperatures are expected to drop drastically due to a cold front.

So today short sleeves, Friday long sleeves and a coat. Texas weather is so messed up!

Vancouver checking in...

Temps have been hovering around freezing for the past week, barely above for the high, barely below for the low. So the six inches or so of snow that happened the end of last week and over the weekend is still with us. Mostly roads are Ok, except for the effects of thawing and refreezing, i.e. a tendency to black ice. Where I work, roads are passable, but packed snow, often with ice underneath, and with the thawing and refreezing, I'm not bringing the car here, thanks. There's a little precip in the forecast for later today and then sun the rest of the week. If this were Toronto or some other place that gets snow all winter, this would be gorgeous. But it's a pain in the butt here, and I just wish the temperature would rise about 3 or 4 degrees, and it would rain hard for three days and wash it all away. [I'll stop whining now -- for a while
