Hi everyone! ^^

hello! im really happy to join TCS! and am discovering a new love for cats. my name is Wenny and im 16 yrs old. below is my new kitty, Shumi. it means "naughty girl" cos she's an extremely naughty one and likes to bite our fingers and feet especially.

how did we come across her? (actually we arent sure if its a girl or boy yet..) well one day in the fruit market there was this lady who asked us if we wanted this kitten. she said if we didnt want it she would throw it out. so our family decided to look after her, but we had no experience with looking after pets!

anywayz i really enjoy this site and everyone is so helpful, informative and really nice. the cats ive seen are just beautiful. wish me luck with shumi! by the way.. does anyone know wat kind of breed Shumi is? i actually did not know there was that many different type of breeds for cats!

Welcome to the site and bless your family for taking the little one in. It looks to me like your basic domestic shorthair, but I'm no expert.

You'll want to avoid using your feet and hands as play toys for the kitten as this teaches the kitten bad behavior and could become a problem as the little one gets older. Try using a stuffed animal or something else in place of your hands and feet.
