Beautiful scenery in the background.... and then you notice the water where it isn't supposed to be.
I feel so bad for those affected.

It's snowing in the hills and raining like a son-of-a-gun in Nevada, this is a flash flood area.

Wow, awsome pic!
It's so horrible about all of the bad weather they are having out west.
Hope your friend is safe!

That looks like quite the mess. We have lots of snow coming tonight. We'd have the same problem if it wasn't so cold where I live.

Wow. There are areas around here in Central Ohio that are flooded as well. It's definitely unfortunate. In some instances, freeways have been closed. This has just been a weird winter over all. Just the other day it was 60 degrees and it's the beginning of January. And I thought I heard that Southern California has already surpassed it's rainfall for the year! Absolutely nuts.

That's been happening here in Ohio too. My friends who have the exotic cat sanctuary have been getting a lot of flooding down there. I hope they are ok as well as all the animals
Yesterday, there was snow on the ground and we were having a thunderstorm with lots of rain. Today, it was 68 degrees, all the snow was gone, but a lot more rain. Now it is snowing again. Out west, they have been in dire need of rain for a couple years now, it has been very dry. Now it looks like mother nature is trying to make up for the drought in a hurry. I wish the very best for all those affected by this winter's severe weather.
