I think Hissy should probably merge this thread with the one from last week.

We made the trip and she is a LOVE.
Not a peep in the truck. She just curled up and listened to the music. She is now upstairs in "her room", which was "SiSi's room" and she has her old bed and her old toys + the news bed and new toys (Sasha donated a bee) and a new dish and just had some Wildside Salmon treats. Hey - gotta make her love me. It was instant love between her and Eric as soon as she was in his arms.
Sasha has not met her yet, though. He is downstairs watching Animal Planet and we are giving him tons of attention and loves. We will keep her separated for a night, see how they meet tomorrow. She is inquisitve with everything, just inspecting and sniffing her room, which has a loveseat, and my writing desk, and all kinds of stuff. She seems oblivious to any changes, just another day to explore! She is not exhibiting any stress and that might come later, but right now she's purring like crazy and has happy paws everywhere.
She's perky and bight and smart, very quick, and man, she is soooooooooooo pretty. The other picture doesn't do her justice. Here is a little more of her face. This photo makes her look so big, but she is so small! I'd say upon observing her, she's about 10-11 months. She is very, very petite. Tiny and light as a feather. (Well, we live with a linebacker, so anything is smaller than Sasha!)
So Say Hello to Saba!!!!!!

Mayree, it was such an honor to meet you and be with you all afternoon today! You are a wonderful spirit and cat person who does all kitties proud the world over with your deeply caring heart. I hope I can make her as happy as you have!
I thnk this thread is going to be merged with the other one, so go to Hissy's thread from today to see her photo and update.

I still can't get over how tiny she is!

SABA (sayba) is a Muslim word meaning "Quiet Morning". I thought it fit her sweetness and how quiet she is.

Robin thank you! Yes, she is a Tabby/Coon mix. No way to verify her purity as far as breed, but if you saw her in person, she is magnificent.

Baylee's getting even cuter as she grows up... she starting to knock MY socks off, and I've seen her most every day for the past 5 months!

I can't wait til you start a Saba thread! And I hope Saba and Sasha become friends real fast so we can see pictures of them snuggling!

Ok merged, she reminds me of Maya, a kitty that was shipped to me a few years ago from an animal shelter in California-

Good luck with her and sashacat, I know you have great communication with him, but still take the introductions slow, for her benefit as well as his-

Thanks, MA and will heed that great advice. He's still enchanted with Big Cat Diary on tv at this hour.....

Thank you Beryl! Ebony has a new west coast cousin!
I told Stephanie and Sierra the same thing.
Thank you Sandra! and Pat! Thank you everyone. I am so filled with love and joy in my heart. Is this like childbirth??? I look at her and see beloved tabby Freddie in her face, so much like him, but yet she is totally different. She is so tiny!
Like a little lion with her mane and beautiful lynx-like markings throughout her body. Ok so it''s time for dinner. She sure likes Eric......
