I took TaeKwon Do... but not in college. I got pretty far too, til the boys started beating me up!

I'm not technically going to college, but I am going to start taking classes next month to become a teacher - yay!

Great! What rank did you make it to in TKD?
I take it at the college while I can, and will sign up for the local dojang when I can't.

I think it was blue belt. I remember it was at least, if not slightly over, the halfway ponit to black. But I started back in the day before girls really did TKD so I was kind of babied a bit. I never really liked it only because if someone was attacking me, would I really know what to do? Like, what's the purpose of all those routines?

But that's just my two quarters worth.. and yes quarters, not cents.. I'm pricey!

LOL!!! NONE!!!! I'm teaching! I train people to use our software, but I would love to still be taking classes. Japanese, now I wanted to that. I'm impressed, Brandon.

Writer's Forum
Child and Adolescent Development
Satire
Biology (a pre req, that I thought I could get out of with my Nursing Diploma...but nope!)

And working 38 hrs a week!

ooOooOoo... I would have a 4.0, but, one of my teachers lost a page in my portfolio. So I only have a 3.5.. still good, but.. I wish I had that 4.0!!

I totally used to use that site when I was picking classes! Came in handy too, though I wish I would've listened to what it said about one professor!

Thanks Candie

Ari, I agree there are lots and lots of routines and patterns that seem like they would have no use in a real life situation. I think they're there to help develope<sp?> discipline.
TTMom, yep I love Japanese
I'll be heading over there sometime in the next year just to see what it is really like.
Barb, congrats on the GPA!

Peace,
Brandon

That site is awesome! I signed up for the classes I really wanted and then I went on the site to check out what others said about a teacher that I was gonna take...let's just say I changed my schedule--very fast!
