I heard my kitty sneezing earlier.. so I picked her up to see if she had a runny nose.. if she had a cold or something... her nose was a little moist.. but I noticed one side of her nostril was swollen. Is this something I should be concerned with?

I don't know how swollen it is, or where exactly it's swollen, but I would have a vet take a look at it. It's not something that goes along with a cold, so the sooner she can be seen, the sooner you will know what's causing it.

Having just one swollen nostril may mean that it's an insect bite, nasal polyp or something stuck in the nostril such as a grass seed. If she keeps sneezing, the swelling doesn't subside or it's bothering her, do see a vet.

My little brother had a bag full of gum.. and she was in it.. sometimes gum has that powder substance on it.. and she might have sniffed a little of that up it.. would she be alright if that was the situation??
