I'm sure there are a lot of people on here who are into arts & crafts. I thought it would be fun and interesting to see what people have made for their cats.

Bowls & Food Stand for Miko:

Bowl for my Mom's cat (Savanah):

I didn't forget my two other boys...
Kionu has a army print pattern on his bowl and Sebastian has a choo-choo train theme on his bowl.

Edit: Added a photo of Kionu & Sebastian's bowl.

Hey when are you making a bowl for Baylee? Her birthday's coming up pretty soon... and I know she'd love one like the one you made for Savanah!
They're all gorgeous!

My husband bought me a pattern for a cat quilt. Right now, I'm still working on my dog quilt and it's so cute. I'll post when I'm finished.

Somehow I don't feel like Hawaii is local... but I'll tell you when I'll be in Hawaii and I'll come visit and you can make me one! I'm thinking I'll have the money before the year 2010...

Those are cute dishes... I would do something like that for my girls, but... Shade would probably have too much fun shredding what I put on there...

2010? I'm not sure I'll still be living here.

I'm making a quilt, which I might as well say is for my cats. It is to cover my 18x60 inch pressing table when I'm not actually using it for pressing. The cats think that nice padded surface in a corner with large windows on both sides and with a view of the bird feeders is the most wonderful place to lounge. Needless to say, they use that table more than I do! I have been throwing an old sheet over the pressing table to keep all the cat hair off my pressing cover and my projects, but I thought a quilt would look a bit more attractive. I did stick to a simple design, though, as I'll probably have to wash it every week, so I didn't want to invest a lot of time in something that may only last a year or two.

As soon as I add a binding to it, the quilt will be theirs. Right now it is just laying on a plastic on the floor. I'm sure you'll see it in use with one or more of the cats on it at some point in the future.

Oh Wow- what a bunch of lucky fur-kids, guys!!!
I do lots of cat-oriented crafts, such as needle-point, cross-stitch, latch-hook, painting & other crafts. However, most of what I make for my cats seems to fall more under the category of utiltarian, I'm afraid
. I've made some beds, some big scratching posts, & have all the pieces ready to assemble for a cat tree. I've also handmade catnip toys for them.

I make horrible felt and feather monsters for my babies and have just ordered two metres of marbou trim (in barbie pink and bright blue) to make more cat toys.

my toys are so ugly i'd be embaressed to post pics! lol

I did make a really cool diamante cat harness for Maverick, not that she will wear it. i'll post some pics when i get the chance (being very slack about pic posting lately
)

My cats are spoiled rotten. Here's a few things that I've made:

A tent

A bed for the dogs but the cats use it too:

Another tent:

And a cheese:

They also have tons of catnip toys, feather wands, fishing poles, and various beds that I give them. Yup, spoiled rotten!

Did you make those from scratch or did you use a pattern? If you used a pattern, where can I find one?

The first cat tent is a pattern - probably Butterick or McCalls (in the craft section of the book). The others I modeled off of things I saw or made them up.

The hardest thing to find for the first tent is the poles to hold them up. The pattern recommends basket rattan, but I first used acrylic rods that broke, then found some fiberglas rods from a kite making site (Into the Wind). Those poles have passed the rough and tumble test so far.....
